Vaulted Loft in Historic Bank on Hertel King Bed + Walk to Shops

About this space Ultra modern loft in a historical old building that was originally a bank built in 1935. Located in the heart of Hertel Avenue. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants, the park, movie theater. Central Air Conditioning, very clean and unique. I had the original flat roof vaulted creating 17' ceilings so there is nowhere you have to duck. The space This unique space boasts 17’ vaulted ceiling and a large picture window overlooking Hertel avenue. It was recently updated in Late 2023. There are solar shades and room darkening curtains for night time. The full kitchen includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, cooking essentials, plates, mugs, cups & silverware. There is a keurig and coffee pods, an electric hot water kettle, an assortment of teas, a toaster. The cupboards have cooking basics, the hanging pot rack has pots and pans, the kitchen has everything you may need- from popping bottles to a can opener. There are knives, cutting boards- there is a a gorgeous chopping block for extra prep space. The bathroom has a shower for two with separate shower heads, one rainfall…because who actually showers at the same temp? There is a flight of stairs up to the sleeping loft with a king bed. The space is larger than it looks in the photos, it was designed so there is nowhere you will need to duck. There is a large dream walk-in closet that has a single guest bed. The level above the sleeping loft has ship deck stairs, leading to an additional single place to sleep with a futon. Please note additional guests, I try to keep my cleaning fee reasonable so if you’re booking for two and sharing the king bed, you’re fine! If you have extra guests, please add guests to pay the fee because it takes our cleaning girl for a longer to do all the laundry and extra cleaning. The space is above a hair salon, we don’t bite:) when coming and going, you will walk by about a 4 foot opening into the salon, that’s just a heads up you can say hi or not say hi we don’t mind. There is absolutely no access permitted into the salon when it is closed. It is secured with motion sensors, an alarm and 24 hour recording cameras. Guest access When you enter the building you’ll walk several feet past the salon on your left up the stairs. There is a vestibule for your security and privacy which you’ll have keys to. Access is for the upstairs apartment and lofted area. ACCESS IS PROHIBITED IN THE SALON BELOW outside of salon hours. When the salon is closed, laser sensors are activated. If you come near the entrance to the salon a panic alarm sounds which immediately notifies me. There are cameras throughout the salon recording. When you leave the building outside of salon hours, you must lock the door to the building. Other things to note You’ll love the location, the convenience of having Walgreens next door, pubs, restaurants and shops as well as the close proximity to Delaware park and the Buffalo zoo.
