Sous l'Olivier is a hotel in the typical Provencal village of Buis-les-Baronnies, surrounded by lavender, gorse and olive trees. It is located at the confluence of the rivers L'Ouvèze and Le Menon. We had a balcony with a view of the outdoor dining area. The room and bathroom was very clean and the beds and linens comfortable. From the balcony we could enjoy the sound of the nearby stream and the singing cicadas. There was a swimming pool on the property that looked inviting, but we preferred the Menon River. We were happy to have free and secure parking. Breakfast was nice. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of Buis-les-Baronnies, where you can also find very good restaurants. The staff at the hotel (Paul and team) were very helpful, friendly and the value for money at Sous l'Olivier is very good. Merci Paul, we would love to come back. Robert

Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement mais nous y retournerons pour plein de choses : Accueil chaleureux, personnel très agréable, propreté impeccable dans les chambres et également dans tout l'hôtel, repas excellents, local vélo sécurisé avec pc et puis la belle piscine qu'on apprécie lorsqu'on rentre à l'hôtel après une journée sur le vélo :)

Séjour de 4 jours d'un groupe de 8 cyclistes aveyronnais : Hotel/Restaurant : Excellent accueil des propriétaires. Bon rapport qualité prix. Chambres agréables, piscine spacieuse et excellent repas du soir, petit déjeuner et pique-niques du midi. A recommander pour un séjour au top en Drome Provencale

Deux nuits passées dans cet hôtel au calme des oliviers et au sons de la rivière un enchantement l’hôtel est simple et efficace l’accueil est très sympathique ,le restaurant cuisine locale et une serveuse charmante dont l’élégance est un ravissement pour les yeux Je recommande vivement cet hôtel

Niet al te groot hotel in een zeer rustige omgeving op de samenloop van de Ouvèze en de Menon. De eigenaars doen al het mogelijk om het naar je zin te maken. Mooi, niet al te groot zwembad. Mooi terras voor een ontbijt in de zon. De kamerwanden zijn niet goed geïsoleerd en laten dus nogal wat geluiden door. Uitgebreid ontbijt en 's avonds lekkere gerechten. Wifi is wel gratis maar een mager beestje. De met code gesloten garage voor fietsen en motoren is een +punt. Ruime, eigen parking voor ander rollend materieel. Wij waren er al vijf keer en gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Très bon petit séjour à Buis Les Baronnies et l'hôtel sous l'olivier. Je ne connaissais pas la région et j'ai été agréablement surpris. Idéal pour les sorties à pied ou à vélo très beaux paysages. L'hôtel pas récent mais impeccable, très bien reçu petit déjeuner simple et bien pour moi, un menu unique Le soir très bien préparé par le chef dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un peu plus de choix pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le menu. Super accueil de la serveuse souriante et de bons conseils sur la région. De très bons souvenirs, je conseil pour le calme et la beauté de paysage.

Nous avons passé 2 nuitées à l’hôtel et vraiment une très belle surprise !!! Accueil très chaleureux de l’ensemble du personnel, repas du soir succulent (mets et vins locaux), propreté des chambres et salle de bain… Vraiment un super rapport qualité-prix. Nous reviendrons pour sûr !

Posto bello, peccato il bagno sia molto da migliorare ( piastrelle rotte, tubi a vista con location, ecc..) e cucina veramente immangiabile. Dalla balcone vista su edifici fatiscenti. Se fosse tenuto come si deve, sarebbe una location stupenda.
