Mount Elgon Hotel

A very pleasant overnight stay. Lovely room no. 31 at the top of the stairs, with a view of Mt Elgon and the gardens. Super comfy bed with mosquito nets and window mesh. Lovely bath and shower and a hairdryer! Super barman Geofrey - who introduced me to Ugandan gin. Nice pool, pool bar and garden service. Restaurant is good, a bit slow on the night because it was so busy. Breakfast was buffet style but good, with second best mandazi of our taste test. Lots of parking. Nice running route around Mbale and safe to run outside the hotel grounds. Golf course next door.

Siamo stati in questo hotel consigliatoci da amici e dobbiamo dire che la scelta è stata ottima. Camere un po'datate ma pulitissime e dotate di ogni comfort. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile pronto ad evadere qualsiasi richiesta. Cibo assolutamemte biologico ottimo e vario con inclusi piatti italiani ben cucinati (penne o spaghetti al pomodoro mozzarella, parmigiana). Se venite in Uganda scegliete questo hotel. È una garanzia. Isaiah il direttore è una persona fantastica e vi saprà consigliare al meglio per rendere il vostro viaggio un'esperienza fantastica e indimenticabile, Ci ha organizzato un safari di sette giorni al Kidepo e al Murchison fall servendosi di Ken la guida che è stato bravissimo e simpaticissimo E che dire della bella piscina e della SPA per rilassarsi dopo il safari.

Avery nice hotel, with a planned Location that gives you the full clear view of Wanale Hill. So lovely, pretty food and friendly staffs that know there jobs. A memorable travel trip we had in mbale town and that made us to love Uganda at large 👌👌!!
