The place is beautiful and spacious, including the rooms, although the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. It's a farm, so everything is tranquil. If you're not willing to pay a lot for extra activities, such as bikes, horses, or massages, it can be a bit dull. If you want to sit or lie outside in a warm place to read books before sunset to avoid the mosquitoes, this might be the perfect place. The part where we stayed had an indoor pool, while the unit located 1 km away has an outdoor pool. Please keep in mind that if you require additional towels for the pool, an extra fee will be charged, as per the terms and conditions. It was our final impression of the place: everything you need will cost extra. Don't go if you don't have a car, unless you're willing to walk along the road, eating dust from passing cars, and if it's summer, in scorching heat. Although you're close by car, it's far away to walk somewhere else. Our room was 1 km from the hotel restaurant; there appeared to be rooms, but we did not have that luck. But fortunately, we had a car. The restaurant's food and the house wine were good, accompanied by decent service. If you stay at the hotel or in the surrounding area, I think it's worth having dinner there. There was breakfast in the unit where we stayed, but it wasn't enjoyable, especially considering it was on a farm. Nothing tasted like "farm food," there were no toasters to warm the bread, and the only egg option was boiled and cold. If you prefer not to drink coffee from the machine and opt for a good espresso, as we did, you'll pay extra. This was the only one of the four hotels on this Italy trip that charged extra for espresso at breakfast. However, as I mentioned, the location is set in a beautiful landscape with stunning sunsets, and it may be worth it for a night or two. I stayed for a week, and what saved me was the car and short trips to nearby places and towns, such as Montalto and Buonvento, where I would have otherwise stayed. The best thing I did was shorten my stay by one night; it would have been even better if it hadn't lasted longer than two. The staff was kind.

Ein tolles Familienhotel in sensationeller Lage. Alle sind so nett und entspannt, was sich auf Gäste direkt überträgt. Alle Möglichkeiten: auch indoor schwimmen mit herrlichem Wasser, Ausritte und tolle Massage - da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Das Doppelzimmer war groß und nett und rustikal - wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Parkplatz für Autos und Fahrräder vorhanden. Das angegliederte Restaurant war super - ganz leckeres frisches Essen, leckerer Wein und ein besonders netter Service. Danke!!

The location is truly spectacular, on top of a hill with breathtaking views. Good breakfast. The bed was the most uncomfortable I slept in all week (we changed hotels every night) - hard and very poor bed. Lighting in the room was very poor too. We were told the indoor pool was "warm" and it was not heated, and I found either rat or bat poo on my sun lounger by the indoor pool - and quite a bit of it! There was a blackboard advertising "sauna" which we would have loved but they said it was over booked and not available. Upon investigating it was not even switched on - which led us t believe it was broken! Staff tried to be helpful but seemed a bit disorganised - we ordered a picnic at a cost of Euro 10 per head and the sandwiches were disgustingly soggy and not good. We had dinner at a neighbouring restaurant and were driven there by a very grumpy and unfriendly minibus driver. All in all I felt that this place could be truly exceptional but had definitely seen better days.
