St Anastasia Hotel

Just came from this hotel where I spent 2 days and I’d like to point it’s pluses and minuses Pluses : great view and fresh air , beach is nearby - I guess here the advantages end Minuses : broken stairs that lead to the beach down the hotel - 2 stairs in the row are missing making a big hole easy to be skipped and you can get injured . I had to put an effort to overcome this gap to reach the beach . In the end I was down there only once because I didn’t come to risk being injured ! Safety of the guests come first and I just wonder how come something like this isnt fixed !! Such issues must be fixed right away , huge shame on the management of this hotel ! The room is very small with tiny shower together with the toilet , very inconvenient because all is wet after . I paid 310 lv per night and I find it overpriced for that type of accommodation and broken stairs to the beach already . Breakfast and dinner is included in the price but very mediocre selection especially for dinner . If for breakfast you have water , juice and coffee, then for dinner not even water - all drinks for extra charge . I always keep saying that water must be free of charge in the hotels especially in the south during hot summer seasons ! That is the first that every person needs - to stay hydrated ! Overall for one time visit is ok but I won’t come back for sure for that price as the are lot of to be improved to align the cost with the quality in this hotel

Could be an incredible hotel but it’s totally mismanaged and the staff is inept (I wanted to put another word but I’ll be nice). I chose this place because it looks charming on the photos and secluded with no kids. The reality is that it’s like staying in a stranger’s home and he doesn’t want you here. The maids do a good job and that’s about it. The kitchen is a complete disaster with one cook who’s overwhelmed trying to make a hundred different dishes and one waiter who doesn’t have a clue about being a waiter. Other workers are just sitting around smoking and don’t have the gumption to help the clueless waiter.

Generally felt disappointed. What I liked: - the amazing view - the nice personnel: we arrived early and they prepared the room very quickly for us - very well maintained garden and common area - parking is convinient, plenty of space What I did not like: - the website is misleading about the interior: the one we had was not the cheapest option and still was very narrow and difficult to walk inside - these are rather wooden bungalows, without any noise isolation: one can clearly hear people and pets in the other rooms - bathroom was full of black mold, no sound isolation too if you are looking for privacy - the moist inside the room can be felt and smelled - 3 of the electricity sockets were not working: I've been told this was done on purpose, to prevent issues with the system overload - no beach or swimming pool: our mistake, we should have researched better - food in the restaurant was with decent quality but way too expensive - insects are everywhere and are literally going to the eyes, mouth and nose when you walk outside - while garden is really beautifully illuminated, the light goes straight into the room: curtains are very thin, thus a challenge for those who prefer to sleep in dark environment - we found the bed and pillows very uncomfortable, but this is rather a personal preference and judgment Conclusion: too pricy for what we got
