Selwyn Cottage

Selwyn Cottage was a delight to stay at. Located near the edge of the National Park, the cottage balcony overlooks a beautiful garden with views of Norfolk Pines across the valley. The cottage is very cosy with everything we needed and most importantly for us, the bed was extremely comfortable. However the very best thing about our stay at Selwyn was meeting hosts Tim and Laura. They are so hospitable, warm and engaging and in the lead up to our holiday, were so responsive in communications with us. The Island itself is beautiful, with magnificent quiet beaches, pristine forest walks and a chilled atmosphere that made us both instantly relax. Cows roaming the streets mowing the grass was a daily highlight. We hope to return to Norfolk and if we do, we'll be sure to stay again at Tim and Laura's little piece of paradise. Rick and Mandy.

Selwyn Cottage is comfortable well-appointed well located and very private. We enjoyed our holiday in Norfolk Island due to Tim's kindness and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. It was great to be able to use onsite laundry facilities, watch our regular TV programs and sporting events albeit an hour later and relax on the deck The car was housed in the garage next to the house and Tim picked us up at the airport and explained what was where in the town on our journey to the cottage The gardens were lovely and so was the cottage. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast provisions for first morning lasted a few days. We would definitely recommend Selwyn Cottage as a good value for money venue with friendly helpful owners.
