Snob Luxury Suite

Good things first: the bed was good to sleep, location and potential of the building were excellent, BUT: - the apartment was noisy, not soundproof, even speech from the street could be heard in the night. Soundproofness was mentioned first on this website. It was important to us. - some guy started to blow leaves on the street right after 6 am almost every morning. - pictures of the apartment on ebookers website did not match on reality: kitchen chairs were extremly heavy and noisy to move and curtains were terrible in bedroom and there was not any around the bed. - pans were unusable but we got better cos we really needed them for cooking. We got also ear plugs what was not so appropriate gesture. - piping of the bathroom hand basin did not work even though we asked to fix it. - we gave feedback about noice, pans and plumbing in English but got the answer in Italy what we do not understand. Someone brouhgt better cooking utensils without telling us a certain time and when we were absent. - we send messages via ebookers site but did not get any answer. Just automatically wroten notes. - we got wa- message and calls during renting a car and got pressed to inform exact time of our arrival to the apartment. It might be little bit difficult in strange land and city. We got one hour time to get there! And time was about 5.30 pm.

Luxury?? The location of Snob Luxury is very convenient and the apartment is spacious. Unfortunately the place needs work done to make it a luxury accommodation. The shower flooded the bathroom floor, the kitchen is full of useless utensils but lacks basic equipment. Pots have no lids and there is no hot water in the sink. The Patio area as shown on the photos, was not to be found. Luca and Alessandro however are very helpful and attended our needs.

The room was great, it had sauna and jacuzzi. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use them, as I had a very limited time. The area is quiet and safe place, walking distance to the old town.

Quite disappointed with this place. Although in a very good location, there is multiple misinformation on their description list such as sound proof rooms, room service and breakfast available. Upon arrival, the host failed to mention that the door is incredibly stiff and difficult to open. This leads me to the biggest issue we had. After dinner one night, we couldn’t open it no matter how hard we tried. The help button on the side was only in Italian which we could not understand or speak. After 4 failed calls to the owners and no reply (yet) from our check in man, I had to seek the help from a stranger passing by to help us speak into the help button. We were finally buzzed in by the man who checked us in via messages. He then sent us the feature on a website the next day to help open the door when we had difficulty which was every time we entered or exited the building. Hope they can fix this issue for future guests…..

This accommodation is a massive scam! Avoid at all costs. I had booked a room with Snob Luxury Suite between 3-9 July 2023 as I was travelling to Cagliari for work (I was supposed to attend the Egos conference and the pre-colloquium activities at the University of Cagliari). In the confirmation e-mail, guests were requested to contact the owners 72 hours prior to arrival in order to arrange a meeting for check-in, which is an important detail given that there is no reception or designated place to pick up the keys. I sent an e-mail to the provided e-mail address on the 26th of June at 13:52 asking about the check-in, and whether the owners could accommodate my late arrival (in the confirmation e-mail it said that check-in could not be done after 21:00, but it was likely that my plane would arrive later). They did not respond to this e-mail. I sent a text message to the provided phone number on the 27th of June with the same message. They did not respond to that either. Given that it appears absolutely absurd to travel abroad without somewhere to stay, I was forced to find a new place to stay. Given that it is peak summer season in July, and the conference was taking place that week, it was very hard to find other solutions. On the date of my arrival (3rd of July), they responded to my original e-mail at 18:37 while I was on the plane, sternly informing me that they were closing at 21:00 - also without answering the original question about late arrivals. Lo and behold, I arrived to Cagliari after 21:00. I managed to find two available nights at two other hotels for the first two nights, but I then had to cut my visit short due to the difficulty of finding available hotels for the rest of the week. Above and beyond this issue, the hosts requested a deposit of 499 euro above and beyond the cost of the room (note that in other reviews of this place, on e.g., Booking, that the owners have been very slow in repaying this deposit), which was 10 327 sek (about 1000 euro) for six nights. Note that it was not possible to cancel the booking at any time, since it would result in a charge of the total cost of the stay. Ultimately, Luca and Alessandro (who I assume run the place) took my money and ran with it. I honestly and wholeheartedly urge anyone planning to visit Cagliari to stay away from this place, unless you want to experience fraud in its purest form.

Da diversi anni, per le occasioni importanti, ci concediamo una serata in luxury suite e ne abbiamo visitate diverse a Cagliari. In nessuna ci sono stati richiesti soldi da trattenere in cauzione, tranne qui. In una struttura rispettabile e di livello che ci chiede anticipatamente 253 euro per alloggiare una sola notte e "solo" 350 euro di cauzione "per venirci incontro" dato che "di solito ne richiediamo 500" (cit. reception), mi aspetto e pretendo come minimo un livello di eccellenza adeguato. Invece, in ordine di imbarazzo e insoddisfazione: 1) alle 9,50 del primo dell'anno ci bussano alla porta ininterrottamente, nonostante il cartellino "non disturbare"appeso e quando apriamo ci si dice senza neanche un saluto, ma con atteggiamento aggressivo e minaccioso che dovevamo lasciare subito la stanza. Che forse non sapevamo che il check out era alle 10 e che "prima ve ne andate e meglio è". Letteralmente. Invece il nostro check out concordato era alle 11. Siamo andati volentieri via prima, dato il peso di questo evento, nonostante avessimo pagato ogni singolo minuto di sacrosanto soggiorno e dovessimo aver garantito che trascorresse senza intoppi. La proprietà si è limitata a scusarsi per la splendida performance del loro personale delle pulizie con un breve messaggio che dovrebbe, secondo loro, bastare a risarcire dei clienti trattati come degli abusivi scappati da casa. Per quanto riguarda la restituzione della cauzione invece, dopo che ci era stato garantito che alle 15 avremo avuto la ricevuta con lo storno, ci siamo trovati a dover sollecitare l'invio della stessa alle 17,30, per sentirci rispondere che la struttura avrebbe effettuato lo storno nel loro orario di ufficio che va dalle 15 alle 21. Nella restituzione dei soldi della cauzione si sono presi un orario ampiamente flessibile. 2) bagno con scaldabagno interno a vista, doccia angolare non a filo pavimento, binario angolare danneggiato, sifone che perdeva acqua. Portasapone in alluminio attaccato con ventose a un placcaggio con diverse crepe, puntualmente staccatosi dal muro, per poco non mi cadeva sui piedi. 3) non ci è stato lasciato nemmeno un cesto per gettare carta e rifiuti. Lo abbiamo subito segnalato con un messaggio. Ci è stato risposto: "va bene" con un pollice. Evidentemente è considerata una cosa che va bene. 4) la terrazza non era panoramica. Vedevamo altri tetti più alti. C'era a disposizione solo una poltroncina di plastica rossa. Nemmeno un tavolino per poggiare il posacenere. Separet con la terrazza accanto fatto con vasi di piante estremamente"permeabili" che non offrivano nessuna privacy rispetto ai suoi occupanti. Infatti abbiamo notato che non era occupata da nessuno e che disponeva di un ampio tavolo di cristallo, a differenza della nostra. In definitiva abbiamo pagato profumatamente un pessimo inizio di anno nuovo a causa della piazzata del personale di servizio e un'esperienza nemmeno minimamente all'altezza delle aspettative.
