We don't usually write bad reviews if we can help it, but this experience has really annoyed us. The service staff were both rude and unhelpful. We had prepaid for both our rooms and breakfast via trip.com, but found out later that the hotel had double charged us and hadn't told us. They took my card so they could "take a deposit" and the next day I found out that they had taken $340 without telling us. When I brought it up that we had already paid (and shown them the receipt) the hotel manager got very hostile and said he didn't care and that it wasn't his problem, and we need to take it up with trip.com. We also needed to pay again for breakfast, not that it mattered as it was incredibly sub-par for what you pay. First we were reprimanded by the staff like naughty school kids for turning up at exactly 06:30 when they "actually open in 1 minute", and then the actual selection of breakfast is something you probably wouldn't want to wait around for anyway. No fresh fruit and stale cereal for $10 each, you're better off finding food in the city.
Rooms are old and worn down, the mattress had a large dip in the middle, and the air conditioning was musty.
