Seth Playa Azul

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, nice balcony. Pool gets full of people reserving sun loungers with towels from before 8am which is a shame. Food is decent - some items very tasty and some more standard. It stays pretty similar throughout the week, with a few main items switched each day for variety, but can get a little boring by the end. Overall I’d be happy to stay here again.

Zum geniessen Schönes, renpviertes hotel. Wifi im zimmer unbrauchbar. Essen ok.

Great location, beautiful views, excellent food, staff was so kind and helpful like in a 5 star hotel

Just arrived back home from a wonderful 7 day trip. We normally go adults only, but took a gamble that there wouldn’t be kids here, and I would say that most of the guests were mature couples, which seems to suit this hotel. Unfortunately my husband fell down the hotel steps leading to the blue bar, early morning condensation had made them very slippy. The manager made a point of coming to ensure he was okay. The staff here are fantastic, Rafe and Isabel, just a couple that stood out, but all seem happy to help. The hotel itself is looking a bit tired around the edges, and could do with a bit of an upgrade, but more than adequate. There were no early morning dashes for sunbeds, and the area is kept very clean. The pool is freezing, but once you get in, it’s fine. I was the mad woman doing her aqua aerobics 3 times a day! The food wasn’t bad, always hot, but just not to our taste. Not sure why they batter vegetables, and I would have preferred more local cuisine. The drinks in the bar, and snacks were quite expensive, and due to it being end of season, there were quite a lot of local bars closing. We did go to Bar Merlin, near the hotel, which was great for snacks etc. We didn’t venture far, due to accident, but local bus and taxis can take you around the island easily. All in all we loved it here and will be back!

Fantastic hotel with amazing views over the beautiful bay! Definitely worth upgrading to a sea view! Nice room, huge walk in shower and nice toiletries and towels. Clean throughout but hallway carpets seen better days. Nice comfortable reception area. Pool lovely. Breakfast good, plenty of choice and pleasant staff. Kettle hire €1.50 euros a day worth it. Close to all bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Unser Aufenthalt war traumhaft! Das Hotel Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer und gesamtes Hotel sehr sauber. Zimmer angenehm und zweckmäßig. Lage des Hotels super! Könnte nicht besser sein. Von Zimmern mit sea view hat man einen grandiosen Blick auf die nahe gelegene traumhafte Badebucht. Diese ist in nur wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Allerdings über eine etwas steilere Treppe. Menschen mit Schwierigkeiten, die das nicht bewältigen können, könnten alternativ einen anderen Weg über die umliegenden Straßen nehmen. Für uns war dies aber überhaupt kein Problem. Das Essen im Hotel (wir hatten Halbpension) war super lecker, viel Auswahl und auch wechselndes Angebot. Der Pool des Hotels ist gepflegt und ebenfalls mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht. Nahe des Hotels gibt es fußläufig alles, was man sonst so braucht: Restaurante, Supermärkte, Apotheke, Geldautomaten, Autoverleih, Anbieter für Kajak Touren und vieles mehr. Menorca insgesamt ist wunderschön und es gibt unzählige Badebuchten mit türkisenem Wasser, beeindruckende Klippen, schöne Dünen, kleine Dörfchen und schöne Städte und historische Stätten (Talayots), die es zu besichtigen lohnt. Zudem kann man dort gut wandern, z. B. den Camí des cavalls, der die gesamte Insel umrundet. Vom Hotel aus kann man auch direkt einige der Strecken als Tagestouren wandern. Das haben wir gemacht und war sehr schön! Danke für alles! Unser Aufenthalt war traumhaft und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ins Seth Hotel Playa Azul!
