Apartamentos Vista Alegre Mallorca

Despite the apartment add says arrival with host there was nobody at reception even though I had communicated the arrival time. I called and was guided to the unit but when I entered I could hardly breath. The smell of mould and humidity was unbearable so i left for dinner and to think what to do. I then sent a kind message saying i would not be staying a second night and host offered to meet. when he arrived he very quickly turned from kind to aggressive and manipulative. he insisted that the smell was normal and i did not respect "his opinion" (sic!) but finally agreed to give me another unit where the smell still gave me headache but was at least bearable. in this second unit the signs of humidity and mould were however ever more evident and the toilet did not flush (I have plenty of pictures to prove it). luckily the airbnb staff understood my concerns and refunded me the second night. This place is simply not at health standard and should undergo a HSE review. BTW, the owner tried to retaliate with a bad review on airbnb and he got silenced by airbnb. He had made very serious ungrounded allegations so the guy is actually quite a potential liability.

Das Vista Allegre hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit Balkon. Alle sind mit Blick zum Pool ausgerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung ist übersichtlich, aber ausreichend. Die Betten sind schön fest, das Bad nit einer begehbaren Dusche und die Anlage ist ruhig. Keine Partys und bis zum Strand sind es max 5min. Vom Personal sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereich!!!

Well before I start I must say Calla Anguilla is lovely. Beautiful cove beach with an excellent restaurant. Note restaurant closed Wednesday. You can also walk to Calla Mandia beach. A car is necessary really. Nearest town is lovely Porto Cristo. Gorgeous seaside town with great restaurants. The apartment…. Complex looks nice. Pool quiet and clean. The actual apartment is tired, grubby, not that clean and generally worn out. Towels are thin. Pillows hard. Bathroom could do with a refurb. Kitchen completely inadequate for self catering. No chopping board, nor enough cups etc. no oven. Fridge old, toaster and coffee maker broke. Toaster was not replaced. The electrics blew when we tried to use 3 things at once. Our back door broke- this was fixed but caused great anxiety as we weren’t sure that they could repair. The apartment isn’t cleaned the entire stay unless you pay 30 euros. We did this and sheets and towels changed and good clean. When we tried to book another clean it wasn’t available. Considering the cost of rental. Cleaning should be included. I can’t recommend these apartments but the area is lovely.

Good location from the beach and supermarket. The apartment was in a good size with aircondition and all you need for a good stay. We didn't use it but there was also a fully equipped mini-kitchen. The staff was super friendly and good food in the bar.

Good apartments with pool and friendly staff. First drop off from the airport (took about an hour) which is good. Apartment was clean (although crockery wasn't very clean) but accom good for fam of 4. On suite was good and aircon great (main room and main bedroom). Placed well for two v close beaches, check both out as both are good, one (out apartment turn left) was about 4 min walk with little kids, has a bar at the bottom, good to see fish. The other beach you cross over the road and walk about 7 mins to get to beach, there is a bar / restaurant here also and food is good. Walk to the bus stop about 7 mins walk (out of entrance, head right and road curves round) Spar and a cpl others inc bakery. Bus stop is opposite spar entrance to left of big hotel, can get 427 bus a cpl of times an hour into Portacristo which is then your gateway to other busses / places. Book tickets on tib.org and present your barcode on the bus.
