My honest opinion, the owner was more on the aesthetic design that are instagramable rather than a place of relaxation. The Family villa PROS: the aircon facilities are new, had karaoke which we didn’t get to use. They have water dispenser aside from complimentary water bottles. CONS: They would ask you to use your Netflix account however their wifi is bad. Their family villa windows are small poorly designed, limited view of the outside. Too boxed in, you wouldn’t know if it’s sunrise. Their faucet in the bathroom was leaking all night. They had to change the broken faucet the next day. Bed mattress is too hard and not comfortable. Bathroom should have a small shelf to put the shampoo and soap inside the shower area. A hook for towel also.
Amenities: PRO: Aesthetically appealing with their fairy lights at night. I love the fact that each guest had a free kayak experience for 10 mins. But beyond that, there is nothing to do aside from swimming in their 3 swimming pools. CONS: Accident prone for kids and elderly. Water lacks chlorine. The steps on the old swimming pool is too high. The smallest pool around the surrounding villas had an open clamp for the pool lights that my foreigner guest got a cut in his foot due to negligence of the staff.
The food is over rated. The complimentary breakfast was limited. Coffee tastes bad. My guests went outside to get better coffee at your neighborhood cafe. Limited food fare. No fruits in the menu. Looking for something grilled fish or seafood. The star of the menu is the talong dish.
I learned my lesson, I should look at all the reviews before booking. The place is targeted to the provincial people inuman crowd with karaoke. The menu is more of inuman pika pika. The beach is rocky even if we wore our aqua shoes.
