Hotel Chatur Costa Caleta

We have just returned from this hotel and would definitely return. Here are the things I would want to know before booking. Pros: The entire hotel was clean and I didn't see a single bug or insect for the entire duration of our stay (1 week) Cleaning staff were available to clean any and all spills within minutes. Rooms cleaned daily except Thurs and Sun if I recall correctly. The meals were varied from simple burgers, hot dogs, chips, to stews, paella, roasts. Always at least two freshly cooked options with chefs on hand - the omelettes at breakfast were delicious. We arrived after the dinner service ended and were provided with sandwiches, fruit, and water. When we went out on a trip, we ordered a lunch to take with us the night before and picked up that morning all included as part of the board package. Daytime and evening entertainment changed daily and didn't repeat from one week to the next - magic show, music quiz, karaoke, singers, acrobatics... There were more than enough sun loungers and space in the pools even with the baby and rooftop pools being closed. We had issues with our door and water and a technician came to fix promptly. All of the staff were polite, friendly and always smiling and happy to help. Cons: Some of the food was warm as opposed to hot. This didn't bother us but worth knowing as many of the negative reviews on here mention this. Highly recommend this hotel for families and couples alike as it's not full of screaming kids and is a peaceful atmosphere.

Tuvimos un problema con la habitación y nos cambiaron enseguida. El personal es muy amable y la comida bastante aceptable. Está cerca de la playa, de supermercados y de tiendas. Le falta mantenimiento a las habitaciones, no obstante es un hotel de 3 estrellas recomendable.

March was my 2nd visit to this hotel, and I had a lovely time. I was All Inc and the Breakfast great, proper English Sausages with a great selection of everything else. The food on an evening was so much better than when I stayed in 2024, a lot more choice on the cooking stations. The tiny kids pool was not open, but the 2 other large pools were and the water was so warm. Yes it can get a bit crowded around the pools, but for Adults there is the roof top area which I absolutely love. There is a little help yourself bar, which has soft drinks and lager on tap. It is such a beautiful suntrap, it was a shame that the little plunge pools were closed off, but hey this was winter season so can't have everything. The entertainment did there best to keep the fun going and work hard. For a 3* AI hotel you can't go wrong, just a short 3 minute walk between the Barcelo Hotels and you are at the main beach and bars. Over all this hotel is my visit was fabulous and yes I will be going back again next year if I can

Especial mención a Ana una de las animadoras que con su saber estar y su don de gentes hizo que nuestra estancia pasara de estancia normal a una estancia muy agradable.Hace falta más gente como ella en muchos hoteles.Lo digo como profesional en turismo.

Me llamo María Victoria,nos ha encantado la estancia aquí. Recepción excelente. Variedad de comida en buffet buenísima. Camareros muy atentos y amables, al igual servicio de cafetería. Y por supuesto nos ha encantado la animación, Anais, Julio y Ana forman un gran equipo. Muy simpáticos y divertidos, tanto en la noche como en el día. Volveré sin dudarlo!

This hotel has some big maintenance issues but if it weren't for them it's a decent enough hotel for the money. The issues are the kids pool and pools on the 4th floor are out of order. Both of the ladies toilets round the pool are out of order (the hotel advise that there are others nearby which is fine if you don't mind using the disabled one or going into the building) one of the lifts for the 4th floor doesn't work. There are not enough sunbeds and they are worn out and uncomfortable, management claim they have plenty if you ask so why not just put them all out then?? Broken tiles round the pool, in the restaurant and on the stairs are sharp and dangerous. There are poor signs for the snack bar and when we got there the food was all cold but this did improve. Much of the crockery has large chips out of it. Our room was compact but comfortable and overlooked the pool area and was quiet. The hotel is very clean everywhere, the cleaners work tirelessly. We found the food to be ok. Plenty of choice at all mealtimes. Self service hot and cold drinks available all day.The pools are heated in the winter months which was lovely. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the coast line and shops/cafes, 10 minutes to beach which is huge. Entertainment was hit and miss.
