"Amazing place! Love it so much! We have been here every summer since I was 5 years old, and only once it has disappointed me, one summer was ruined by an utterly unfathomable, incomprehensible and genuinely astonishing level of sheer stupidity, Let me explain…. We battled our way for this table outside like brave soldiers. We finally claimed victory, and we put two hats on the table to make it crystal clear that it was taken while we went to get our food… So we went to get our food, completely confident that our table was safe. We come back and… WHY. ARE. THERE. PEOPLE. SITTING. AT. OUR. TABLE?! So obviously, we went over to the waiter to figure out what on earth had happened. And then she tells us that she’d thought someone had just left their hats behind. Like… TWO HATS. ON A TABLE. WHEN IT WAS CLOUDY. And instead of thinking, ‘Hmm, maybe someone is coming back,’ she just… gave the table away AND THIS IS WHERE THE SHEER STUPIDITY OF THE SITUATION BECOMES ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPREHEND. Because HOW do you look at TWO SUN HATS, deliberately placed on a table, in perfect positions, on a cloudy day, and somehow conclude, ‘Ah yes, these people have simply abandoned their hats and definitely aren’t coming back’? The complete and utter absence of common sense was genuinely ASTOUNDING. I have genuinely never witnessed such an unfathomable level of stupidity over something so painfully obvious. This was an absurd lack of brain cells. An utterly unfathomable failure of basic reasoning. A spectacular absence of common sense. A genuinely astonishing display of sheer idiocy. I’m honestly struggling to find words powerful enough to describe the sheer magnitude of the stupidity involved. It was stupidity on a level I genuinely didn’t know was possible. AND DESPITE THIS ABSOLUTE CATASTROPHE, we still didn’t even get our table back. We were handed the hats and basically told to go and sit INSIDE instead. So somehow, after we had fought our way to that table, clearly marked it with TWO HATS, gone to get our food, and come back expecting it to still be ours, WE were the ones who had to move. The sheer absurdity of the decision was almost impressive. It was a truly ludicrous lapse in judgement, an astonishing failure of logic, and frankly, a masterclass in poor decision-making. At this point, I was genuinely questioning how two hats could possibly have caused such a monumental chain of events. BUT THEN… WE LEARNED OUR LESSON. The next day, we came prepared. We didn’t just bring two hats — WE BROUGHT OVER HALF THE ROOM WITH US. There was absolutely NO chance of anyone mistaking our stuff for something someone had ‘just left behind.’ That table was basically under maximum security. As Spider-Man once said: ‘With great power comes great responsibility.’ And with great stupidity comes… apparently, half the room guarding a table."

"هذا فندق لطيف. قريب جدا من الشاطئ. كما أنها نظيفة جدا تتوقف الحافلات في الخارج لسهولة الزيارات إلى صلاح كامبريلز ريس على سبيل المثال. الفندق ليس في مركز السالمية او الكمبريلز لكن بين الاثنين وهو كذلك قريب جدا من الشاطئ و من سهولة الوصول الى الكمبريلز كذلك المواصلات العامة . يمكنك المشي لكنه step Shop across the road you can ترتيب الرحلات اليومية طاقم الفندق لطيفين وخدومين الطعام جيد وغني Top range alcohol and beer is Estrella I would go back again as I believe this is good value للاموال وكذلك الوصول السهل لمواقع مختلفة. الجانب السلبي الوحيد الذي سأقوله هو عدم توفر وسائل ترفيه مسائية كافية للكبار... ولكن في المجمل جيد جداً"

"بعد رحلة طويلة وإقامة مخيبة للآمال في فندق فيينا بفرنسا، كانت هذه التجربة الأكثر ترحيبا. جميع الموظفين من المكتب الأمامي إلى التدبير المنزلي كانت مهذبة ومرحبة ومفيدة للغاية. أنا أحب موقف الموظفين. وقدم المساعده مع أي مساعدة في أي وقت. الفندق نظيف جدا، غرفتنا كانت حبذا لو كان أكبر سرير على الكوكب. حتى فرشاة الأسنان و معجون الأسنان تم تقديمها. كان الطعام في المطعم ممتاز مع خيار جيد للأطباق. مرة أخرى، كانت أطباق الموظفين رائعة. نحن نخطط للبقاء هنا مرة أخرى في رحلتنا إلى الوراء ونتطلع حقاً إلى إقامتنا مرة أخرى هنا."

"My friend & I enjoyed our week at the Monica Hotel very much. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Small balcony but lovely view over the pool and pretty garden. We thought the food selection & quality was exceptional for a small hotel - couldn't fault it, spoilt for choice every time! Great lunch time bar menu too, very good value. Santos was a great character - running the bar from 4pm. All the staff were super and really seemed to appreciate my limited spanish! The hotel location was great, literally 1 minute from the sea front! We were blessed with clear blue skies & sunshine every day and enjoyed strolling along the long promenades & browsing the many shops. We visited Park Sama on the land train, went to the old town of Cambrils & had a day in Tarragona which was well worth seeing. We had a lovely holiday & would thoroughly recommend this hotel."

Pluses: - Excellent location very close to Cambrils's main beach - Very kind staff - Great rooftop terrace - Refrigerator in room - Quiet and clean Minuses: - A bit overpriced for a midweek stay - Rooms are VERY small - No kettle or coffee/tea in room - Not a lot of outlets Overall, it's a good place to stay if other, less expensive, hostals near the beach are unavailable."

"Good facilities, fantastic dinner and breakfast (except for the coffee which was bad) I asked for a double bed and in both rooms they gave us 2 singles…. Bad cleaning, I found a cockroach in the room and at 10 am the cleaner opened the door knocking on both rooms without giving them time to warn that we were inside. That is unacceptable"

"The hotel interior was very nice. The external appearance was not so great needs some attention. The pool was smaller than expected but always sunbeds available. The food was excellent, we were half board and always lots of choice. Some evening entertainment which were very good singers. Our room was a superior with solarium, room was adequate size, comformy beds, balcony very small but roof terrace was excellent. No tea, coffee, water or kettle which for a superior was disappointing. The staff were polite and friendly and the barman was lovely. The hotel is very spainish orintated and only one other english couple were there the same time as us, but it do not affect our stay at all The area is lovely with plenty of restuarants, shops and nice harbour."
