Staff was very courteous. Great location. Housekeeping not up to par. Used washcloth in our shower. No extra toilet paper.

Greeted very nicely on arrival. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. This hotel is right in the center of downtown, with walking access to everything, library, park, wharf, shops etc ,very ez. There is no elevator and 2 sets of stairs to the the 2nd floor. If you are visiting Camden, this is a nice hotel to stay in

We loved the fact that this building is essentially on stilts (concrete piers) standing in the middle of the river. Our room was on the first floor RIGHT ABOVE THE BABBLING BROOK! We had no idea we'd be getting this, and we LOVED it! We kept the window open even though the temperature was cool. Very romantic and slept like a baby. This is an old Inn, and as result is a little worn, but the room was large and had all the essentials. The location is perfect, parking super-close and easy. Right in the middle of everything. You could spend a bunch more at other Inns and be a short block closer to things, but why? I don't think there is an elevator, if you are on the upper floors. I couldn't find a coin-op laundry in the building, and the desk was seldom staffed to ask. We'd defininately stay here again, for the river and the value over nearby hotels.

Walked 3 minutes to Main Street from property. We just parked my car in the property, walk to town for food and shopping. Have nice space in the room. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

When I spoke to the gentleman on the telephone he said that the room was overlooking the river and that it is a great room. Maybe 30 years ago it WAS a great room - the carpets were old, stained and dirty. The furniture was old and not in an antique kind of way. The upholstery on the chairs was dirty. And the bed was an old spring mattress that made a lot of noise whenever you turned over. It got cold that night, but we kept feeling a draft. Sure enough, behind the shutters, all the windows were open, and their was a fabreze scent in the room, like someone did some heavy scent spraying. The best part was the price - $459. Upon closer look at the entrance, (the glass panel front doors were filthy, the railings going up the stained carpeted stairs were dirty...overall either the management of this hotel are either blind or they just don't care.

Clean comfortable stay. Parking onsite was nice. Didnt have or need much interaction with staff.

We stayed in the room with a view of the river. It was so relaxing having the windows open with the nice weather and hearing the water rush by. The room and inn itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable. I do think that the room itself could use some updating and attention in the bathroom specifically. Overall, the location of this Inn though cannot be beat. We were so close to everything that anything (shopping, food, waterfront) was no more than a 5 min easy walk away. Yet, this was quiet and secluded! The inn had also provided water, ice, tea, hot coco, hot water and coffee anytime a guest would like it.

Owners no longer seem to care First impression was bad. Unkept entry with dead flowers and dirty front windows. Reception desk was confusing location.. like walking into an office. Stayed mid Sept I guess they think season is over. Could be better with effort.
