"My husband and I received a warm welcome from Julie at this beautiful location. The idyllic setting is perfect for relaxation. The region is dotted with rosemary, olive trees, and beautiful citrus trees. The pools have matching loungers and shady spots. Our room (a junior suite) was clean and beautifully furnished. The breakfast with local products was phenomenal. Now for the less pleasant part. As already described here, you have to order dinner the morning of, as everything is freshly cooked. Unfortunately, we placed our order by phone at 1:30 p.m. while we were out and about. I was told on the phone that the menu consisted of pork. Since I don't eat meat, I asked for a fish alternative and asked for a call back. Julie, however, promised me that it would be okay. So that evening at 7:30 p.m. we went out to eat with great anticipation. We waited and waited for our food........ Various families and couples who had already eaten their main course arrived around us after us. After 90 minutes of waiting on the extremely uncomfortable chairs (never experienced anything so uncomfortable), I finally lost my temper and went to the kitchen to ask how long we had to wait. I was dismissed with the reply "give me just 2 minutes." The food arrived after 5 minutes, however. It was a 4x4 cm piece of salmon (which you can get anywhere; I don't need to go to Mallorca for this "fish") and 2x2 cm small potatoes. It was gone in one bite, and I was still hungry. The "checkoch," as everyone calls him here, had his ego so hurt that we didn't want anything from him the next day. Sadly, this evening cost us a whopping 90 euros. We received no compensation. On the contrary, we were treated with contempt. A shame; this experience greatly spoiled our stay. If you enjoy eating good fish and want to be served really nicely, be sure to visit Casa Manolo in Ses Salines. Decent portions and above-average service."

"3.5/5 stars. The fontsanta is a stunning hotel with an incredible amenity-packed thermal spa, but it just barely misses the mark. Overall, I think the hotel offers great value for the price especially with unlimited access to the thermal spa and the included breakfast buffet which is exceptional. The restaurant on-site is great too, and it absolutely delivers on the elevated dining experience. The entire staff including front desk, spa, housekeeping, and the restaurant have all been fantastic. The layout and design of the spa is one of the best i’ve ever seen. However, there have been some no-brainer issues that have come up during our stay. The first is that there seems to be an unfixed mold issue in the rooms. The room was clean but there was a ton of visible black mold found throughout the room, which other reviews have mentioned previously as well. I’m not sure why this hasn’t been permanently fixed yet as this doesn’t seem to be a new issue. There were also signs of an active termite infestation in the wood beams above the bed, which is gross to think about. The second is the overwhelming amount of wasps flying around the property which makes relaxing by the pool or walking the hotel grounds a little uncomfortable. Also, there are no towels by the pool for some reason which requires you to walk to the front desk. Lastly, although the spa is beautiful, I think it could use a little extra care and TLC. These issues aren’t complicated to fix and but addressing these small things can really take this hotel to the next level. In summary, the hotel has all of the components of a sophisticated 5-star hotel, but the lack of attention to small detail unfortunately downgrades the experience."

"Food and staff are the positives of this hotel - excellent food, high end and really well cooked, presented and served. Staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are very dated, with furniture from the 1970's & 80's (some bits of office furniture and plastic garden stools) - beds are hard and uncomfortable and there is one flat pillow per person. Sheets and towels are old and need replacing. The bathrooms desperately need refurbishing to bring them up to standard."

"This is a lovely hotel. The setting is very peaceful and the grounds are absolutely lovely. It is like being based in a park/ botanical garden. We slept so well - not least because of the peace and quiet, but also the biggest, comfiest bed ever! Breakfasts were lovely, sat on the outside terrace area. We only dined in once in the evening which was very pleasant and the complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The only 'grumble' we had was that we felt the waiting on staff weren't always on top of their game (eg. not clearing plates away when finished with/ topping up breakfast buffet promptly). We would definitely stay again, but it's worth noting that you definitely need a car if staying here as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We liked this as we didn't want to stay somewhere touristy, but it is something to be aware of. Special shout out to Alvaro on reception who was very helpful in giving us recommendations for places to visit."

"The room is great and there is a kitten outside the terrace, there is a swimming pool next door, the boss and waiter are very enthusiastic, the location is good, but the shops next to it don't know why they didn't open the door. The breakfast is very rich, full, if you want to come to the beach to play, I recommend their home."
