Stayed there for one week in June. The location is fantastic with a great view. The staff is very serviceminded and gave great advice on what to do and where to have tasty dinners. The breakfast is very nice, varied selection and very tasty. The salsa was yummy. Recommend this hotel for a great vacation in Can Picafort ☀️

Booked a 4 night HB stay and were wonderfully surprised. The hotel room was small and the bathroom could do with an update but the meals were superb, a themed area every evening with lots of choice. Breakfasts were also very tasty and definitely set one up for the day. A day trip to Cap de Formentor is highly recommended. All in all good value for money.

Firstly. They said room would be ready in 10mins. 1.5 hours later I went back up to desk. The person in front of me originally had room 014. They asked to switch and were given our room which was reserved as a balcony room. They gave us no recommends on where to eat, places to see, etc. just given the key. When we finally got our room they gave us the room they just switched 014. When we got to 014 no power. Went back to desk. They said “oh forgot to give you the card the needs to be inserted for power”. First of all, this room has no balcony which we reserved. The window faces the alley and a car. The Air Conditioning did not function. We ask 3 times (12pm, 3:30pm and 9 pm). for them to fix. Each time they said they would. It never was. The room was approximately 32 C. Only bright spot was the bartender was extremely friendly. Would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone but my worst enemy.

We booked a 7-night stay with our 8-month-old baby, and it has been a truly unpleasant experience. The air conditioning does not work properly, and the room is unbearably hot – making it nearly impossible for our baby to sleep. We’ve reached out to the staff multiple times, but they seem completely indifferent to the situation. At first, they promised to bring a fan to the room – hours later, we’re still waiting. I’ve kindly asked if someone from the staff could come and feel how hot the room is themselves, but no one ever shows up. We still have 5 days left of our stay, and instead of enjoying our vacation, we’re just trying to get through it, exhausted and uncomfortable. The hotel refuses to refund or offer any alternative so we could move to a more suitable place for our baby. The service here is honestly unacceptable. The staff are not helpful, not responsive, and show no concern for guest comfort or wellbeing. I’m writing this to warn other families – especially those traveling with small children – to avoid this place. Choose a hotel where guests are treated with care and basic needs are actually met.

After a dreadful start with check in we eventually given the wrong room to be changed the next day! However we got a double instead of a twin and no view after being promised a sea/pool view on the booking form. However we made the most of it we had no choice! The reception staff were really unhelpful and not pleasant then the next day on duty we met Angel And Juan on reception who were absolutely fantastic nothing too much trouble and very helpful and smiley! The room 311 was very clean and bright but tiny the balcony was too small to use. The food was wonderful very good choice and tasty too! The position of the hotel is perfect just a spit away from the gorgeous beach! All in all a great holiday but beware the pictures show JS Picafort and not JS Horitzo !

I’ve recently come back from a week in Mallorca and stayed at the JS Horitzo Hotel for a week, so I’ll tell you a little bit about it and share my experience. Location: The hotel is in Can Picafort which sits right on the beachfront in Alcudia Bay, I hired a car from Palma de Mallorca Airport, the drive is around 55km and took around 55mins to get there. Food: I thought the food was excellent, I stayed half board, breakfast was served from 7.30-9.00am and had plenty of choice, everything was well presented, Dinner was 6.30-21.00 and there’s some lovely dishes served during my stay, plenty of choice and I enjoyed the food, so no problems there. Rooms: My room was basic but it had everything you need, I had a comfortable bed, a balcony overlooking the beach which got the sun in the evening, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space + lots of hangers, a TV on the wall which had a few decent movies on during the week, a fridge decent size. Sheets and towels are all changed each day, Bathroom was an adequate size, I was on the 4th floor which also has a sun solarium where you can sunbathe if you like. Parking: I had no trouble parking as I rented a car for the week, once you enter the seafront roads & get down to the hotel area, there’s lots of residential streets where you can find a space quite easily. Things close by: Alcudia is just up the road, you can walk it if you fancy a bit of a hike, there’s a Lidl just up the road 3mins drive, a good place to stock up as some of the local mini markets are a bit pricy. Also there’s Port de Pollença a nice beach and town which is around 10min drive. Conclusion: All in all I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely go back, the weather was pretty good on the whole, it was September so there was a few overcast days brewing, the food was very good & the beach and shops were very close by, so everything you need is close to hand, Wi-Fi was included and works from your room, add in a car and it’s a great base from where to explore the island as well.
