"Very disappointed with the staff at the reception. I got to their hostel at around 9 pm, the receptionists (two men) asked me to wait until they were done with some work, I was exhausted but tried to be patient. However even when they finished I wasn’t called to do the check in. I had to ask them a twice when I saw they were doing nothing. Terrible costumer service. Not helpful at all at any time. These guys really need some training"

"We were very satisfied. We haven't been to many hotels, but we have stayed in some good ones. This one is the best so far, and very affordable. It truly exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was amazing, with a beautiful ocean view. It was also very spacious and clean. My wife and I had an incredible time."

"This hotel is in a safe area and doesn't offer all-inclusive. I was out on tours all day, so I really only used it for sleeping. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hairdryer. The hairdryer had great power, which was a huge plus. They provide two bottles of water daily; additional bottles cost extra, so I'd recommend heading to the supermarket for more. If you're in a hurry, you can get free water at the gym on the 4th floor. Toothbrushes and other similar items aren't provided. The pool is quite shallow, though I didn't actually use it. There's a large supermarket nearby, so I'd advise using that. There's no kitchen, so self-catering isn't an option."

"I am not picky and have been to many places, but for a price like this, $200+, I can definitely have a better experience. The Oleo Hotel feels like an old cucumber painted green, pretending to be young! My sunglasses were lost by the pool, and I asked to see the CCTV twice, but the other party refused both times. I asked for proof, but the other party couldn't produce any... Cancun is very beautiful, there are too many good hotels along the way, you can skip this one"

"I highly recommend Oleo Cancun. We had a fantastic time from start to finish. The hotel is not big but rather medium but is the ideal size if you prefer to stay away from those massive resorts that feel more like malls than hotels. However our room was quite spacious with lot of storages and a beautifull view, The staff was extremely friendly and not pushy at all, which was greatly appreciated. The food from our all-inclusive package was delicious, with a variety of restaurants and buffets to choose from. They offered a range of international, Mexican, and Asian cuisines, with plenty of options for meat, vegetables, fruits, and cakes. The hotel is quite peaceful at night, which is nice if you're not looking for a party hotel. The staff was attentive and remembered us, making us feel valued. Our room was clean, and they always tried to accommodate our needs. We paid a small fee for a late departure, which gave us continued access to the facilities and food for a very good deal, perfectly matching our evening flight schedule. I would definitely come back and recommend this place. The location is very convenient for the airport and is situated on the strip."
