Resort Cala di Falco

Das Resort war die 3. Station unserer Sardinien-Reise und wir waren für 3 Tage dort inkl. Halbpension. Die Rezeption war gut besetzt, professionell und freundlich, man gab uns einen kurzen Überblick und den Hinweis, dass wir einen Shuttle zum Strand, der alle 20 Minuten fährt, buchen könnten. Als wir unser Zimmer betraten, waren wir leider etwas enttäuscht, das war noch der Charme der 80er Jahre, zwar alles sauber aber leider auch echt überholt, zudem gab es nur einen Kleiderschrank mit einer Stange und einer Ablage aber komplett ohne jegliche Schublade. Für 3 Tage ging es - aber für länger gäbe es schon Probleme. Im Bad gab es nur eine kleine halbrunde 80cm- Dusche. Wir sind klein und schlank... Der Fußboden rund um die Toilette geflickt, der Toilettenhalter auf halb acht und wackelig. Die Klimaanlage hatte ihr Aggregat auf der großzügigen Dachterrasse, war aber laut und gab zusätzlich sehr viel Wärme ab, so dass es erst 2 Meter weiter auf der Terrasse wieder abends auszuhalten war. Den ersten Nachmittag haben wir uns ein wenig umgeschaut, wir wollten zum Strand, bei dem wir dachten, dass wir nur über die Strasse müssten - da war aber nur eine Holzplattform mit ein paar Liegen und einer Leiter ins Wasser. Weiter rechts Richtung Ort gab es noch einen kleinen Strand mit Liegen, die wohl zum Hotel gehören, ansonsten aber wohl öffentlich ist. So sind wir am Pool geblieben, der recht großzügig und schön ist und zudem von der Wassertemperatur auch etwas Erfrischung bot - außerdem gab es dort richtig tolle breite Poolliegen! Abends haben wir noch gefragt, ob das im Ort der Strand mit dem Shuttle sei (???) und nachdem das verneint wurde, haben wir uns zwei Plätze für den nächsten Tag zu dem anderen Strand reserviert. Nach etwa 10 Minuten Fahrt erreicht man den Strand. Dort kommt man an einen Liegenverleih, der sich auch mit "Cala di Falco" präsentiert, dennoch sind die 2 Liegeplätze mit Schirm zu bezahlen. Erste Reihe 40 €, dahinter 30 € - sehr eng alles. Der Strand selbst war sehr schön, schöner Sandstrand mit relativ flachem Wasserzugang, kristallklares Wasser! Auch eine schöne Länge, um spazieren zu gehen! Am nächsten Tag haben wir wieder den Shuttle genutzt, waren aber etwas schlauer und haben uns direkt vom Verleih am Parkplatz zwei Liegen und einen Schirm für 30€ aufbauen lassen - hier konnten wir uns den Platz selbst aussuchen und lagen wesentlich großzügiger und komfortabler. Dass es sich nicht um einen eigenen Hotelstrand-Trakt dort am Shuttle-Strand handelt und man extra bezahlen muss, hätte man im Hotel sagen können. Frühstück und Abendessen gab es jeweils in Buffetform, war ganz gut insgesamt. Das Service-Personal am Pool wirkte etwas unmotiviert, im Restaurant dagegen sehr nett und freundlich! Insgesamt würden wir sagen, dass hier hauptsächlich die Lage bezahlt wird, Cannigione ist ein hübsches Örtchen, in dem man auch etwas flanieren kann; das Hotel selbst würden wir keinesfalls mit 4*S bewerten!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 10 gg, rapporto qualità ottimo,. La zona ideale per poter visitare le spiagge più belle e i borghi più accattivanti della costa Smeralda ! Meravigliosa accoglienza , sempre disponibili e gentilissimi, nonostante il pieno non si è notato affollamento. Complimenti! Torneremo sicuramente!

First visit to Sardinia, and will not now be the last ! Excellent hotel, staff, food (especially seafood), scenery and close proximity to the lovely Marina/ town nearby. Taking in the last couple of days by the pool. Will take a look at the other Delphine Hotels in Northern Sardinia when we get back. If they are anywhere near this one we are in for another great experience 😎

Siamo andati con mia moglie per un weekend senza figli e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il resort è studiato per offrire puro relax con una vista mozzafiato della baia. Ottimo cibo e personale squisito ed affabile. Lo staff è sempre molto cortese e professionale; ciò che contraddistingue il gruppo Delphina dagli altri resort è questo: massima cura ed attenzione del cliente. Per chi cerca un angolo di puro relax ed ottimo cibo questo resort è l’ideale. Le stanze sono molto belle e pulite.

The resort itself is lovely and the main building and pool are very elegant. We were staying in the residence which is across the road from the main resort as we needed two bedrooms. The apartment is ok - aircon good once we figured out how to use it, nice welcome basket of food products and decent implements for cooking. However they really could do with a bit of TLC - the marble on top of our outdoor aircon was heavily stained and the walls don’t look as if they have seen paint for a long time. Obviously we are paying a lot less than if we were in the hotel, but the resort needs to decide if they want to rent out apartments or not, as it does give you a bit of a poor impression. Beds were a little hard but not too bad and we had a couple of towel changes and one sheet change during the week. Apartment pool is small and the ladder to get in is dreadfully squeaky- someone complained about this in 2023. There are a lot of families with small children so it can get noisy. Strictly speaking apartment residents are not meant to use the main pool as denoted by plain rather than stripy towels, but it wasn’t too busy when we were there so we used so,e of the lower level recliners as the views by the main pool are spectacular. Neither pool seems to have showers or toilets- the main one was a bit of a faff as you had to get dressed and then go downstairs, although they were beautifully decorated. It is possible to pay for breakfast and dinner. When we went which I think is low season this cost €22 for breakfast and €44 for dinner. Breakfast was worth the money - especially as we had our teenage son with us - as there was unlimited smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, bacon and delicious fruit.They would also make eggs to order and bring cappuccino to your table. We ended up going most days and not having lunch. We went to the dinner buffet one evening, there was a reasonable selection and quality was high, but wine was expensive and we generally preferred to eat out at the nearby restaurants, would recommend Brezza di Mare and Mola 91. I do not recommend that you do evening dinner at Vigne Surrau as that was disappointing. The resort is pretty, there’s not a lot to do unless you want to drive or do the all day boat excursion. We drove to Palau one day and got a day return to La Maddalena just to see the scenery and that was a lot less expensive than paying for the boat. Husband and some walked up to the nearby viewing point in the morning. We also went for a run along the front, there is an outdoor gym but it has one weights machine and a couple of cardio equipment. Overall to me it’s somewhere between 4-5 stars. The convenience of the apartments would be great if you have a young family, but felt a bit like we were second class citizens and you pay extra for beach chairs, bus to the beach etc. But it is a lovely spot.

This is a fabulous ‘boutique’ style hotel which can accommodate full, half or breakfast only options, we opted for B&B. The hotel is relatively small on two levels, split over three stories. The pathways could be a little tricky for people with mobility concerns as they are similar to paving slabs of which some are wonky. Several sets of small steps to reach the top, with no lift. Bedrooms are spacious, just note that if you pay extra for a sea view ensure you get one of the better ones. Some I would say are partial sea views which don’t have the same wow factor. Bed linen and towels changed daily if you wish. Food is extremely good quality at all times with plenty of choice. Extra cost for evening meal was around 40 euros each. The grounds are beautiful with arches of bougainvillea and jasmine everywhere which the scent is incredible. Also they create great photo opportunities. The pool area is lovely with plenty of nice sun beds for everyone. Pool was cold when we visited but sure it must warm up as the season goes on. All in all a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate in going back
