Blue Jacket Motel

Lovely stay as we visited family over Christmas. We are from Queensland and the room was so welcoming as we entered with Christmas music and soft lighting. The bath room was great and lots of space for two. Will stay in the deluxe king suite again when are down.

I couldn’t speak more highly of the blue jacket in Canowindra. My wife and I are not inclined to leave hotel reviews as she works in the hotel industry, and it would be inappropriate. but I could not leave the blue jacket without celebrating how truly astounded we were by the level of excellence this motel delivers. For those of you who have worked in hospitality over the years, even the finger pad entry was wiped down and without fingerprints. This was the first sign (even though I didn’t notice it at the time ) of the level of detail that the team deliver here to our stay next level. The rooms are well appointed with a well allocated sense of space, including a beautiful main room with king size bed and bathroom including a luxurious bath which overlooks the river. I will NOT in future, stay at any other location if it is within working distance of this location, and YOU should NOT consider any other location approximate to Cowra without first considering this motel. Wildly underpriced, wildly under appreciated but enormously over delivering. Six stars if possible, thank you Jenny and team for an amazing stay.

We went to Canowindra for the annual Baroquefest, and didn't know what to expect from our country motel accommodation, where we stayed for five nights. The Blue Jacket Motel was delightful and certainly exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed, a sofa, armchairs and coffee table. The verandah was sunny and the outlook so pleasant. It was quiet! There was a refrigerator, a microwave, kettle, and toaster so some self-catering was easily done, especially for breakfast. The shower had not one but two shower heads! The proprietor, Jason, was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for better and we highly recommend it.

Wow! The Place to stay in Canowindra! The rooms are spacious, super clean and just beautiful. Check in communication was very clear and super easy. When you walk in the room smells divine and there are beautiful personal touches of Lavender on the towels and in the bathroom. The rooms have been recently refurbished and they are stunning and very comfortable. Bathrooms are beautiful, shower pressure and hot water was perfectand the towels big, white and fluffy. Shower is an easy walk in shower which was brilliant. We stayed in a King Suite and the bed was very comfortable and made with beautiful, quality bed linen and cushions. The Mini Bar had everything you need Wine, Beer, Gin, Soft Drinks, Chocolate, chips and cheese and crackers all at reasonable prices. There were two balconies off our room which was a great spot to enjoy cheese and crackers and watch the world go by. The motel is walking distance to town, but very quiet at night. The Blue Jacket is the best place to stay in Canowindra and is great value for rooms of such a high standard.

Stayed the weekend- very impressed. Rooms are sensational and great value. Gloria’s restaurant onsite is great value too, with a quality menu. The renovations and decor are great. These keyless check in and booking system is easy. I would highly recommend the Blue Jacket Motel

We initially had a few issues with the booking and they were sorted straight away and the manager was more than helpful. A luxury stay you wouldn’t expect in a small country town. Strongly recommend a stay in the beautiful Blue Jacket Motel in Canowindra
