We are really pleased with our stay at St. Stephens Guest House! Lovely hosts and accommodating of special requests. Delicious breakfast available, especially enjoyed the homemade yoghurt and granola!

David and Sandra were very welcoming. The guest house was very clean, room and bathroom were a good size. Car park was a real bonus. A great choice for breakfast very well cooked and presented. Location was good just a ten minute walk into the centre. Great value Would have no problem recommending. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

St Stephens is well located in Canterbury, about 10 minutes walk from Canterbury West station, and about 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral and town attractions. A Sainsbury is near by and the many restaurants in Canterbury are easily accessible on foot. I was solo in a double room which was perfect for a three day stay. It might have been tight for two people with luggage. Room was quite clean and had a fan for the hot weather. Breakfast was ordered at night to be ready precisely at one's chosen time. There were mutiple cooked or cold choices. The weather was quite hot while I was there and with the window open there was some traffic noise from the busy adjacent roundabout. Nevertheless, I would stay at St Stephens again.

Lovely friendly Guest house
We were pleasantly greeted and explained where everything was there was a booklet in our room with any additional information we may need the room was immaculate it was so much cheaper so than a local hotel and apart from the the room being slightly smaller everything else was much nicer than a general hotel, I would highly recommend a visit.

This was a well located, welcoming guesthouse with parking. We were meant to go for the Christmas market in December but decided to delay our visit due to a storm, the owners were more than understanding and helpful in changing our booking at late notice and accommodating us. Recommend for a friendly and comfortable stay in Canterbury.
