Really close to Cape Agulhas (about a 10 minute drive) where we saw a fabulous sunset. The hotel is right on the coast in Struisbaai. If you have a room on the front you can see the sea The manager Monique was very welcoming and had even left sherry to drink and brought us kettles for tea. Good showers. Great breakfast. There is a huge lounge with an honesty bar for the guests which is a lovely feature for a group. Sadly we weren’t there long enough to enjoy that but being able to walk out straight onto the beach first thing was fabulous. The resident owls clearly like this place too !

It was absolutely amazing. Location is excellent: easy access, although quiet. Right across the beach and a few minutes way from Cape Agulhas and hiking trails. The hotel is very nice, beautiful and the family rooms is from a different level. All details were considered to make it a perfect stay. The breakfast is excellent: good quality ingredients and tasty food. The staff brings all this to a different level. You realy feel welcome!

We choose this hotel due to its convenient proximity to Cape Agulhas which is a 10 minute drive away. The hotel is situated on the coast in Struisbaai. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. There is a large lounge and honesty bar for the guests to use, which is a wonderful feature. We had the place to ourselves and it was fun to be a bar attendant for the night! We also had a massage the next morning, which was reasonably priced and very relaxing.

Enjoyable stay in Struisbaai

Wir waren 2 Nächte mit unseren beiden Töchtern im Hotel und es hat uns super gefallen! Monique, die Hotel- Managerin, ist großartig und war jederzeit da für Fragen, Anmerkungen etc. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und unsere Töchter hatten ihren eigenen Bereich. Die Pool- Area hat uns ebenfalls super gefallen sowie der Aufenthaltsraum inkl. Bar und riesigem Flatscreen. Man hat von der Terrasse sowie dem Pool aus einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer und das nächste Ort mit dem südlichsten Punkt Afrikas ist direkt um die Ecke. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb des Ortes und insgesamt ist Struis Bay kein Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten (Restaurants, Shopping etc), das sollte man wissen vor der Buchung

Excellent faculty located right opposite the Indian Ocean. Our room was superbly appointed, with a very comfortable bed and deluxe soft furnishings. Large bathroom with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Special note for Monica. A charming and caring host. We were welcomed with a big smile and enthusiastic greeting - 1st Class
