Carbis Bay and Spa Hotel

We had such a wonderful stay at the Pods! We stayed in the Spa POD, which has two double bedrooms, both with en-suites and a living / kitchen area between them. There were so many thoughtful details that made our stay truly amazing, including the most delicious lemon drizzle cake and bread upon arrival, as well as a fridge stocked with the essentials like milk as well as some lovely other food to enjoy! I'm not sure if this is a normal thing as we were celebrating a 40th birthday, but it was such a wonderful added touch. The Pod was so cosy and beautifully decorated. We had a coffee machine with coffee pods supplied and a choice of teas and instant coffee too. We had towels in the rooms aswell as beach towels to use for the hot tub in our Pod garden and the sauna and plunge pool on site! They also provided bathrobes and flipflops. We were given marshmallows to toast on the fire and blankets to use outside. We had pastries and bread delivered by the hotel in the morning for breakfast and then got to use the spa facilities in the main hotel, which was just a short drive away from the pods. The pods are in a very quiet and peaceful area, which was so relaxing. The concierge, Sam, was great and really helpful. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back one day!

The negative reviews did worry us but honestly this is 5 star. Location out of this world, service superb, so many food options, great spa and the beach is just WOW!

Our stay at Carbis Bay was absolutely phenomenal- the Junior Beach suite was beyond incredible and we were looked after impeccably for the entire duration of our stay. Lesley and her team were all so accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly - we were blown away. They went above and beyond and we are so grateful, it is one of the most amazing weekends of my life. I will be saving up every penny so we can return again!

We stayed in one of the pods which is fitted out to the highest standards. We had one or two queries and ‘Sam’ our assigned ‘go to’ was exemplary in his efficient and speedy response. We found ALL staff went above and beyond to help and advise. I’ve a suspicion though we have possibly met in Sam a future manager of the Hotel. Need we say more. Thank you Mike and Laura.

This hotel is by far the best in Cornwall. The hotel staff are so friendly and accommodating, they do whatever they can to make sure your stay is a 10/10. We stayed in a Beach side lodge and the concierge team are on another level. They are friendly, kind, professional but with a lovely laid back attitude. Nothing is a bother to them and are a real credit to the hotel. They chat to my children and make them feel great too, a birthday treat was left on our last visit which was such a kind gesture also. The lodge is just magical any season and the access to the beach is such a luxury in itself. It’s clean and well looked after. The hot tub is well maintained too and clean. Well worth the stay
