Sleep Inn & Suites Carlsbad Caverns Area

This hotel was great for our one night stay! Very quiet, front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was exactly what you would expect for continental breakfast at a hotel. We requested a first floor room when we arrived and they accommodated us! We would stay there again!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well supplied.

The hotel itself was ok-ish. When we arrived, I think the check-in staff were in training as one was guiding the other but then they proceeded to talk about how one had made a mistake on another guest's booking. Not very professional! Room was nice and big and fairly clean but there was NO SOAP. Nothing to wash with! These are the basics and when I went to the front desk to ask for soap, thinking that it was an oversight that we didn't have any in our room, they explained that their delivery had not come in and they could offer us shampoo! When I said we'd already got that in the room then they suggested we could drive ourselves to the local Dollar General to buy our own. Actually, as standard hygiene (especially where you are serving a buffet breakfast!) then you should at least provide soap somehow. Why not send one of your staff down to the Dollar General for 50 bars of soap and at least explain to the guests upon check-in that there is no soap and if they do not have their own then offer them some!! This is the most simple thing to do since I'm now sharing a breakfast room with other guests that may also not have washed their hands very well, which is quite a gross thought. Not acceptable if you ask me. The hotel really let itself down on that. Probably best you pick somewhere else to stay as there are plenty of other hotels in the local area.

The rooms was not cleaned had to sleep on dirty sheets .They told us help was short no clean bath towels .I stayed at this hotel for a week sleep on same sheets and used same bath towels .The manager did nothing to help get room cleaned or clean towels .I would not stay at this hotel every again .When I tried to talk to lady behind front desk she had nothing to say .I tried to call manager she would not answer the phone . Other people at hotel had problems and left one person the door would not open to his room they told him they would have to open the door for him every time he came back to hotel . This is piss poor manage and service .

10 year friend reunion!! The Hotel was awesome!! It was so clean and nice. The pool is small but the girls loved it!! Breakfast was good. We spent alot of time downstairs in the sitting area with our friends catching up on our lives and playing games. Thank you all for auch a wonderful hotel experience. We definitely recommend this Sleep Inn.
