Another top-notch stay at the Springhill suites in Carlsbad! I’ve stayed at this property a number of times but haven’t been back in about six months. When I returned, I received a very warm welcome back from Sarah L. and a glass of sangria! It was so comforting during a stressful time to see an authentic friendly face. I also want to shout out Daniel, Josh, Antonio and Ilana, members of the team this time that remembered me from my previous stays and helped create a comforting stay with their smiles and great attitudes. I planned just to stay one night and I stayed three! As a titanium member, I take note of the exceptional teams across the Marriott Bonvoy family, and this one stands out! They keep earning their high ratings by consistent Excellent customer service, cleanliness (Antonio and the housekeeping team are crushing it), and their breakfast buffet (with breakfast sandwiches), where the team is always replenishing and keeping it neat (thanks Juan). You can’t beat the location right across from the beach (they even have a beachtowel kiosk near the front!), and the room decor is upscale, West Elm furniture with comfortable beds as well! Book it now as they often sell out!

Hotel is amazing! Sarah at check in is always kind and sociable after a lengthy cross country trip. Great location bear restaurants, cafe's and the ocean for my afternoon walk after work. Parking is convenient. Rooms are clean! Entire facility is clean. Kudos to the staff at this great spot! Thanks for making my home away from home warm and inviting for the two months a year I spend in Carlsbad! I truly appreciate the hospitality!!! :)

I’m an Ambassador Elite member who stays at different Marriotts almost every week. For a short beach getaway with the family, we chose this property because of its location, but were very pleasantly surprised with the condition and amenities of this property. It is perfectly maintained, extremely clean and has unexpected amenities such as a rooftop bar, very deluxe breakfast and free of charge towels and chairs for the beach. Last but not least, the staff is amazing. I want to give a special shout out to Ilana, Daniel, and Sarah, for being so kind and accommodating.

The location makes this a great place to stay. Easy quick walk to the shops, restaurants and a sandy beach . The rooms are a bit compact for suites - the space could have been designed a little better. Everything was working a very clean - seemed new. Nice view from the Rooftop lounge - open for lunch & dinner, but hotel guests can access in the morning as well. (Take your breakfast up there!) Parking was convenient. Though $20, it felt safe - so worth it. The pool was a bit small. The fitness room was clean. Only real disappointment was the breakfast. It looked good but the coffee and juices all tasted watered down (several other guests made the same comments). The food was ok.

Really enjoyed my stay. Great location right across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants.Very cool rooftop bar with great views and a good vibe. Very good breakfast with a staff that was very attentive.

Wonderful stay. Such a shame we were only staying one night, it was a really comfortable bed and room had a view of the sunset. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff were so kind and made our stay even more amazing. Thanks again to the Lauras and Ilara, as well as all of the staff. Rooms and all areas super clean as well as all necessary amenities. Breakfast had a good range of options and had the best decaff I’ve had since being on vacation. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Carlsbad!
