Place is charming, great location ultra chill! Staff is great & reactive. Really clean. There is a lot of activities offered by the hotel, which are not expensive. Close to the small village that you can visit (island is small though) Will recomend

I went on a girls’ family trip to this hotel at the end of May, and I absolutely loved the experience. Food and drinks were decent while the staff was friendly and welcoming. One thing I strongly recommend is planning your arrival time carefully. Since the hotel is only accessible by boat, timing is key. Our flight arrived at Cartagena’s airport at 2 PM. From there, it took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to drive to Barú (where you catch the boat), followed by a 15–20 minute boat ride to the hotel. Sorting this out with the hotel was stressful BUT once we got on the boat, the vacation really began and it was worth it. To make up for the inconvenience, the hotel graciously offered us complimentary transportation from the airport and even included a tour of the islands which was a thoughtful and pleasant gesture. A couple of helpful tips: 1. In Colombia, most communication (including with hotels) is done via WhatsApp, so having the app is essential. 2. Breakfast is included, but it’s served early and feels a bit rushed, so make sure you’re up on time. Aside from those small things, our stay was amazing and incredibly relaxing. My family and I are specially grateful to the staff for their hospitality, aside from the beauty and relaxation from the hotel, the staff was the best part and we had a wonderful time💛

Desde el recibimiento de Juana y Juancho supe que estaba como en casa. Isla del sol es tal cual las fotos, un lugar increíble y acogedor donde cada unos de los trabajadores hace su máximo esfuerzo para que tu estadía sea más placentera. El Menú me sorprendió bastante, muy variado y a un precio justo para lo que se ofrece, contundente y exquisito. Las manos de la señora Sixta son todo un talento. Mis platos favoritos el filete caribeño y cazuela de mariscos. Pero en si tienen de todo, pizzas, hamburguesas, hasta menú vegetariano. En el bar sneider hace la magia con los cócteles. Aparte de la atención muy amable y personalizada me apoyo con el servicio en una cena cumpleañera que le organice a mi pareja. Erling súper atento y servicial desde el desayuno, te pregunta constantemente cómo la estás pasando, si necesitas algo más. Siempre dispuesto a servirte de manera inmediata. En recepción Josmira y Maria Camila me ayudaron a coordinar todas mis actividades, caminata ecológica, visita al acuario, me apoyaron con la cena especial que fue tal cual la imagen ofrecida, muy atentas y en constante comunicación. Las habitaciones siempre limpias, cama cómoda, buena iluminación, amplia. En resumen fue una estadía placentera desde que llegué, el lugar es mágico y acogedor, para parejas, familias y amigos, lo recomiendo mucho. Me voy feliz y con ganas de regresar a Isla del sol pronto.

It was absolutely beautiful. Erling, Sneyder, and Aldair were the best hosts and treated us with kindness like family. They took good care of us. They showed us the culture and the village. The property is relaxing and comfortable. Excellent experience.
