Current River Cabin

The house was the perfect location that was 10 minutes from town. It had an amazing view for wanting to drink your morning coffee and sit outside and enjoy the river with close access.

Great place Nice place, modern. Lots of stairs, be prepared. AC works very well, everything in house worked great. Limited kitchen supplies and small bath towels, but that's being pretty picky. We will stay again. Biggest issue we've run into is the house has been actively for sale, so always a risk our reservation was going to be canceled at any time.

Float trip It is a very nice house and a great location with a beautiful view which we loved, but it was not clean all the floors were covered in dirt and the couch with sand it was bad enough we went to town and got a vacuum and broom to clean it up for our stay. The dresser draws had dead bugs and dirt in them, the bathrooms were very clean tho. The bedding was also very clean, but mattress’s were very uncomfortable

Quiet Space - Beautiful View Nice, quiet place to relax after a day on the Current. Newer home, nice furniture. Beds are very comfortable. Enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee on the large deck. Great view of the river! Definitely would stay here again.

Weekend getaway Great place. Everything seemed brand new. Very close to town, and right on the water.

A place to crash, definitely not to stay It's kind of on me because I should have looked more closely at the pictures. This is a great spot right next to the river to spend the night. This is not, however, a comfortable place to stay. The place is outfitted only with a couch, beds, TVs, and dressers. Everything is empty. No art or decor, no lamps (so it's all or nothing with the overhead lights), no rugs (and it really needs them because of sand), and almost nothing in the kitchen. No can opener, no toaster, no fan over the stove. The door tracks are filled with dead bugs and attract a million flies that get in the house every time you open the doors, and of course there is no fly swatter. No broom to clean out the door tracks and address the problem. There's a gas grill but it was out of gas. Asked the host about it, no response. There was a cool fireplace table on the back deck, but it was also out of gas. The water in the showers was warm but not hot and it made showers uncomfortable. The host was not responsive until I had VRBO contact him and then he said he was "sending someone" who never came, and then he told me that no one else had complained so clearly no one was ever going to come. This place is fine for a spot to sleep with air conditioning after a float trip, but not a spot to chill out for a week which is what I was looking for. This was not money well spent for us and we ended up leaving a day early.
