Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Start – L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa, Seychelles. We stayed at L’Escale Resort over Easter, hoping to create special family memories. Upon arrival, the experience began on a positive note—check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort itself has an elegant, modern design and initially gave off the impression of a true luxury getaway. We paid USD 8382 (plus 600 for extra bed) for 6 nights. However, things quickly took a turn once we entered our room. The lighting control panel was partially broken—only one of the three panels worked. Several lights didn’t function at all, and a power socket panel was damaged. While the rest of the room looked clean and comfortable, these maintenance issues were disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The following morning, we encountered more problems. Our key card suddenly stopped working after breakfast. We were told this might be because it had been near a phone, which seems like a weak excuse for what is likely a system issue. Overall, while L’Escale Resort looks beautiful and has the potential to be an excellent luxury destination, it’s let down by poor maintenance, weak systems, and extremely slow service. We arrived at this fabulous hotel and were greeted by the wonderful Peggy, she was so welcoming. The (hotel) is of a very high standard. The food is excellent and the pool is very enjoyable. We love spending time at the Bar with Michelle Meriton drinking many of his fabulous cocktails. The service in the Restaurant is first class as is the standard of food. Unfortunately I have dairy/gf allergy that can cause problems when abroad. But, at L’Escale I never once had to mention it, the team all knew and the food was exquisite. Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy, we also had a fabulous view. Thank you for looking after Us in the Restaurant, Valentina and Dynise in your caring way.

One of the BEST Birthday Experience I love all the attention & details that was put into the well received service. The food was great & the staffs was all very friendly. special thanks to Dynese for the extra attention I love the table set up it was so nice by the pool so peaceful so beautiful set up keep it up. Thank you to Ms Hillary for the service she was an excellent Waitress. Chef Juan did exceed my expectations on the food choices of mine. I’m so happy I choose le scale to spend my special day. I’m looking forward to come back very soon!
