Villa Bertagni

Honeymoon Stay We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Villa Bertagni. We were able to explore the surrounding area and fell in love with Northern Tuscany. Moshki was a gracious host and made us feel very welcome.

This hotel is worthy of its ranking and ratings. A jewel in Northern Tuscany, the host is charming and so helpful to make your trip enjoyable. The room is exceptionally well-appointed - breakfasts are amazing. We now understand the accuracy of the previous reviews and why it is so popular.

I booked in Villa Bertagni from 11 until 16th August 2024. I book all my trips in Booking, for the 1st time I booked this Villa without the possibility of cancellation, as it was a last minute decision and there were almost no more accomodations in the area anymore, August is always a very busy month. Unfortunately my mother had a serious accident and I had no option than cancel all my trip to Italy. Due to the serious accident, I got the refund of all my trip, even flight tickets without cancellation options but as I have Certificates and all documentation of my mother accident, I got the refund of all except Villa Bertagni. I talked to Booking (they wrote 2 emails to the property, they were very helpful and kind supporting me), I called Villa Bertagni and talked to the owner who asked me to send an email. In few words, I tallked to the property, I sent the email they advised, Booking sent 2 emails and there were simply NO REPLIES, no answers, nothing! I paid 663€ and they didnt have the minor education, respect nor comprehension to the situation I had, zero human solidarity. I also sent to the owner the Medical Certificate of my mother requesting even a partial refund or a Voucher for further use ... Simply no answer!! Do we really want to meet this kind of people who do not care at all of their customers?? Disgusting!! Not even a reply! ... Shame on you Villa Bertagni!!! Money suckers and horrible behaviour!!

Questa location è stupenda, arrivi da una stradina nel bosco e ad un certo punto ti si apre una meraviglia, sembra di essere in una favola, lontano dai rumori della città e dai paesi limitrofi, avvolti dal verde con molte zone d’ombra giuste per queste ultime estati, 2 piscine di cui una grande che riceve sole durante la giornata e l’altra quasi sempre all’ombra per godersi un acqua molto fresca. Il personale è molto gentile e attento a tutto, sa consigliare cosa visitare e dove pranzare o cenare. Colazione di dolce e salato con prodotti fatti in casa. La Villa è tenuta molto bene, ordinata e con accessori originali dell’epoca, stanze curate e tutto in stile. Una vacanza da sogno e sicuramente diversa dalle altre…

What a wonderful stay! Villa Bertagni looked even better in reality than it did in pictures! What a beautiful place to spend a few days - we were so happy to find it! Our room was comfortable with all the mod cons and furnished with lovely antiques. Great and peaceful location to use as a base to explore the surrounding mountains and 2 pools to relax in when we arrived back. Thanks Moshik for all your great recommendations and your delicious breakfasts each morning that enhanced our stay.
