Villa Senaia

This villa is a must have for anyone visiting Tuscany with family, especially for a special occasion. We went for a week with my family to celebrate my 40th Birthday and it was perfect. We had lunch and dinners together on the terrace in the shade looking out over Tuscany, and then did different things for breakfast. We went during a heatwave so it was 30+ everyday meaning we got up early and explored the local towns in the morning (Arezzo, Cortona etc) and then got back to the Villa for lunch and Siesta! A dip in the pool around 4pm and then either a walk into the local town for a pre-dinner drink (3km walk which took 40mins with amazing views along the way) or drinks on the terrace! We took advantage of the private chef experience and they let us help make the pasta! It was an amazing meal and so nice to have it done at the Villa. We had a 16 month old in our party and the Villa was perfect for that, we could put her to bed then have dinner on the terrace enjoying the view! All in all I would highly recommend this villa. I’d go for the view alone, but the large rooms, air conditioning, dining terrace, cool breeze, hot tub, swimming pool, proximity to town and wonderful host all made it a 40th to remember!
