Die Lage ist herrlich, die Thermalbäder warm und sehr entspannend nach der tollen Wanderung von Cabanaconde, der Weg ist auch ohne Guide leicht zu finden, die Hosts sind außerordentlich herzlich und geben sehr gute Tipps für die weitere Tour.

Great time, good hot springs and comfortable rooms. Basic accomodation but views and food make up for it. Overall really enjoyed the experience, and very happy to have stayed here. Great as part of a 2 or 3 day Colca canyon trek, and good weather the entire time

Es un lugar maravilloso para descansar. Además el personal me ayudó con tanto cariño cuando lo pasé muy mal porque vomité debido al soroche. Por suerte había un transporte para 250 soles al pueblo Cabanacondes que tomé el otro día. Pues me fui con una impresión buenísima y con el alma tranquila :)

The llahuar lodge is one of the best hostel lodges I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a long hike to get there but it’s so worth it for the tranquil and natural hot springs at the base of the canyon. The food provided at the restaurant is tasty and reasonable. Both the room and the common area were very clean. The family running the place is incredibly warm and kind, the best Peru has to offer. Try to take a dip after dark to enjoy the Andean night sky, shooting stars, and the Milky Way above. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the canyon.

On entering the dirty , dusty floored reception/ dining room/ bar you pass by the filthy kitchen. We ate tasty fried egg & chips & worked hard to ignore the kitchen they had come from. The dining room is veranda style & open to the air. Lovely view of river but bare wires & bare bulbs ( filthy & fly encrusted) hanging from ceiling in dirty, uncared for & unloved dining room/ reception/ bar. The whole place including bedroom & bathroom needs a deep clean & then regular cleaning to maintain an acceptable basic standard of cleanliness & hygiene. The bed linen was clean but the walls & floor of the wooden bedroom cabin had many dead insects on them. The toilet & wash basin were clean but the shower had dead insects in the shower tray & the shower head was filthy. The cabins were in lovely grassy river location with table, chairs & flowers outside cabin. This good attention to detail needs to extend to interior bedrooms, bathrooms & dining room. As we checked out the hotelier was watching football on TV in hotel entrance. His time should have been used cleaning.Even when paying budget price a basic level of cleanliness & hygiene are expected & required.

Enchanted place at "the end of the world". The 3 lower pools are ingenious. We had a "luxury hut" with a bath and it was clean and cofortable: just fabulous, considering where you are. You have the river in the background at all times - which i think is really romantic - if a restroom is nearby...
