Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre (Queen Street)

Nice location near both city center and the train station

Lovely hotel right in the thick of it. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Will definitely use this hotel again when visiting Cardiff.

We arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .

Convenience areas, nice staff and services

Booking process was made simple. Storage facilities before hand excellent. Manager Kayla and her staff superb! Staff on hand to help with check in if any issues. Thought the bar facilities were excellent and look forward to staying again.

Premier Inn (Queen Street) is in a great location for the arena and city centre. The Queen Street train station is also right outside. The hotel itself is in a small pedestrian precinct with only disabled parking anywhere near. If you want to park near there is a multi storey adjacent that you can pre book via Just Park. Otherwise the hotel suggest the NCP which is about 500 meters away and across a busy road. The hotel is really smart, great food, comfy beds and great staff. It ticks many boxes and we really enjoyed our stay.
