Странный отель, как такового ресепшн нет. При бронировании был завтрак, а по факту его не было, как и регистрирующего человека на месте. Т.е. и check-out не было. Пришлось оставить ключи в двери комнаты и бежать на экскурсию.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral – was Fluch und Segen zugleich ist. Zwar ist man mitten im Geschehen, aber leider ist es bis spät in die Nacht so laut, dass an erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken war.
Das Einzelzimmer war sehr einfach eingerichtet. Der Schrank war defekt, das Bett wackelig, und im Badezimmer roch es dauerhaft unangenehm nach Abwasser – auch wenn es grundsätzlich sauber war.
Der Betreiber war freundlich, wirkte aber eher zurückhaltend und nicht sonderlich engagiert. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt okay für eine Nacht, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen.

Posizione ottimale, camera confortevole (sconsiglio la economy, un po’ piccina, visto che comunque ha un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo anche la stanza di categoria superiore). Bagno piccolo, ma dotato di un super accessoriato ed avveniristico wc con bidet integrato. Colazione con ampia scelta. Ma il top è rappresentato dai proprietari, di una gentilezza, un garbo, una disponibilità ed una correttezza (sarebbe troppo lungo spiegare come l’ho constatato, ma fidatevi) senza pari.

I visited for a couple of nights as a solo traveller. I arrived earlier than expected but the owner was accommodating an let me leave my bag there until check in time so I was free to go exploring. The location is good in terms of being very central to everything but this of course comes with the city noise which is part of the experience. The local area is busy until late so be prepared for that. Bring earplugs if you want an early night. The rooms need some updating but I've stayed in worse. The owner is very helpful and a nice man.

FULL OF MOLD - DON'T STAY HERE
The whole apartament is full of mold. You can smell it from the doorway.
The bathroom is tiny, full of mold and rust, and the shower area doesn't have a door.
Inside of the room the walls are dirty, full of scratches, and the room smells of mold.
The owner has bad English skills and he scolded me regarding the hour of the breakfast (bad communication).
The receptionist guy was very nice, helped me with directions and let me leave my luaggages inside the accomodation after check out, but had drityness under his nails and didn't cut them.
The dining area is very small and the breakfast wasn't ready at 7:30 a.m.
The breakfast is very good and is compose of cheese, ham, eggs, olives, croissants, cakes, jam, Nutella, bread, tea, milk, hot chocolate, coffee.
The accomodation is close to the city centre, with supermarkets near by, and also to the Duomo of Catania.
The door from the balcony had no window blind, it was missing.

I really liked this place. The owners/staff are extremely helpful and kind. The room is very cosy and super clean, bed and pillows are of great quality. The place is right in the center and even though I stayed here on Friday night, I didnt hear any noise. I definitely recommend staying at this place!
