Ottima posizione, a un passo dalla famosa via Etnea, purtroppo la struttura non dispone di ascensore (ma non importa si va in palestra per fare dello step). La colazione è ai minimi termini, ma adeguata al prezzo, il personale simpaticissimo è molto disponibile. Il prezzo, considerando che eravamo a capodanno, adeguati alla media, forse leggermente più alti. Se andrò a Catania ritornerò ba Valentino.

This "hotel" is nothing more than an overpriced hostel. To begin with, there is no lift to the 1st & 2nd floor where the reception and guest rooms are located (mind you, building from beginning 20th century with high ceilings...). The guest rooms are utterly run down with AC not working, light fixtures our of order, shower fixture broken, wash basin clogged, sagging mattress. Breakfast is not before 8 am. As we left early, we requested a water kettle to make our coffee. The water kettle was promised and the mugs selected, but not provided. As Reception closed by 8 pm and did not open before 8 am, nothing could be done about it. The AC was also not repaired.

Eine gemeinsame Radrundfahrt in Sizilien mit Übernachtung in 3 Etappen, darunter 2 Nächte im Hotel Valentino. Buchung der Unterkünfte erfolgte bereits 3 Wochen im Vorfeld mit schriftlicher Reservierungsbestätigung aller Parteien. Mit Hotel Valentino waren wir zudem noch telefonisch in Kontakt um einen Transfer zum Flughafen über das Hotel zu vereinbaren. Am Tag unseres geplanten Check In im Hotel Valentino erreichte uns eine Mail zur Anfrage der geplanten Ankunftszeit. Diese wurde von uns erst am Nachmittag gelesen, da wir verständlicherweise nicht immer und überall auf unsere Mails zugreifen. Die Zimmer waren trotz schriftlicher Buchungsbestätigung mittlerweile vergeben. Der Inhaber hielt es nicht für notwendig, uns bei einer alternativen Unterkunftssuche behilflich zu sein, geschweige denn sich zu entschuldigen. Ignorant, unzuverlässlich, nicht im geringsten gastfreundlich...... Hände weg von dieser Unterkunft!!!!!

Ottima posizione centrale e prezzo buono sono 2 pregi, non si può negare. Da sapere però che si trova sopra un night club, con musica a volume altissimo fino a notte fonda (fino alle 2,30 il martedì sera in cui ho "dormito" lì). La mia stanza era abbastanza pulita. Edificio antico e affascinante.

Worst hotel. hotel Valentino Catania
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was a club downstairs until 4 o’clock in the morning the music was so loud, could not sleep . also AC did not work. Bathrooms and bedroom was disgusting. Also, the toilet was broken.

This is a very excellent hotel in an ancient building. The location of the hotel is very convenient for travel. I would like to especially thank a lady who is in charge of the front desk reception here. Because I accidentally slipped, she was very kind and busy for me and quickly called an ambulance. I really thank her for her kindness and everything she has done for me. I wish her and this hotel a good future.

We were given a room with no window or only one that looked onto a brick wall. On the fourth floor 60 steps up and down each time was difficult.
Recommend you make more of the fact there is no lift
