Picturesque TRADEWINDS TERRACE is a penthouse sitting directly above Coral Bay's restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery/convenience stores. This uniquely designed round villa sits in a tropical setting on a hillside overlooking water and islands, providing a panoramic view for miles around. Conveniently located on a fully paved road (Rt. 108) immediately accessible to the main road (Rt. 10/Centerline) leading to St John island’s beaches & Virgin Islands National Park. EASY & free parking on site. LUXURIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS. Your private penthouse of the cottage offers a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom 750 square foot unit with a well-appointed eat-in kitchen, relaxing living room with smart TV with WiFi for streaming video, expansive view from the king size bed in your master bedroom suite, and lavish bathroom features including rainfall shower head. FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. Not all villas are fully air conditioned. We have two A/C split-units for cooling all living areas of your entire unit as well as ceiling fans. You can also kick back and enjoy the easterly trade winds and afternoon shade. WATER AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS FROM ALL AROUND THE VILLA AND ON PANORAMIC DECK. Step outside your bedroom or living room doors to enjoy the sights and trade winds of the Caribbean. Spend the morning soaking up the sunrise with your coffee as you overlook unobstructed, east-facing water and island views. Relax in the afternoon shade watching the colors of the setting sky as you cook dinner on the Weber gas BBQ grill. End your evening kicking back and gazing at the stars and listening to music. Your panoramic deck sits 500 feet above sea level facing the refreshing trade winds overlooking Coral Bay, Tortola and Norman Island of the BVIs, and down island at the Sir Francis Drake Channel towards the Baths of Virgin Gorda and Spanish Town. MINUTES AWAY. We are conveniently located to many destinations throughout the island. All the popular beaches such as Maho Bay, Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay are accessible within a few minutes’ drive from the villa. Great snorkeling is close by at Salt Pond and Haulover Bay. Hikes at popular Reef Bay and Ram's Head are within 10 minutes, as well as several others as we are within close proximity the Virgin Islands National Park. Popular Coral Bay restaurants such as Skinny Legs, Rhumb Lines, Lime Out, and Miss Lucy’s are in this area. Two grocery stores are at the bottom of the hill. ABOUT THE VILLA: This villa is a house with independent units (an upstairs penthouse unit/apartment, a downstairs unit/apartment, and a guest suite). Each unit is complete with its own entry and designated parking space, etc. (there are no shared living spaces or amenities, with the exception of shared parking lot and exterior stairs). The unit in this listing is the top floor with high ceilings indoors and an expansive bird’s eye view outdoors. STAIRS: STAIRS: As is typical with most villa rentals in St John, stairs are involved in accessing the unit. St John is mountainous, and villas are build in the mountain terrain either as an uphill-build or downhill-build. This villa is a downhill-build, so you descend flights of stairs to where Tradewinds Terrace is located. __________________________________ 'Shared' space on this listing indicates that there is more than one unit on the property which share the parking and exterior stairs. There are no shared decks, interior living spaces, or other amenities. No pull-out/rollaway/extra beds available. BEACH ESSENTIALS provided for this listing include: towels; 2 chairs; 1 cooler; 1 30-can backpack cooler with ice packs; 2 pool noodle floats. Perfect St John Getaway We loved everything about this stay--incredible views, absolutely spotless, clear instructions, and stocked with useful things to take to the beach. Sitting outside on the balcony was magical. Coral Bay had a really nice, slow pace. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a great vacation.

Great stay for two! My husband and I stayed here shortly after getting married on Island. It was perfect for the two of us! Very clean, beautiful views and Sally’s directions were perfect. We have stayed on Coral Bay several times and this was one of our favorites!

We loved our stay in this lovely penthouse in Coral Bay ! Sally was easy to reach with any questions and so sweet ! The view was SPECTACULAR !! It was so quiet at night. You could sit on the deck and listen to the frogs. This property gave us just what we needed….deep rest (very comfy bed) and complete relaxation ! We will definitely be back !!

It was a beautiful rental with a view - very quiet with nature all around. No laundry in unit, but owner offered laundry service. Quiet side of island so a 40 minute ride to beaches on curvy & often steep rides - you’ll need a Jeep! Limited grocery options nearby & no gas station close by. We enjoyed our visit very much - there is a learning curve

A Treehouse Getaway As soon as we exited our jeep at the property, we both just stood there, absolutely amazed at the view. It really is as stunning as it looks in the pictures. The checkin was very simple and straightforward, the home was spotless and included thoughtful touches like binoculars for enjoying the view and swim noodles and beach chairs. We were so enamored with this place, we didn't even want to leave to get dinner. We drove to a nearby market and cooked dinner at home, eating out on the gorgeous balcony. If we are ever lucky enough to be back on St. John, we'd choose this place again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful View The view from Vista Bahia was stunning and the perfect spot to stay in St. Johns. We loved how close it was to fun places around the bay. The place was well appointed, clean, comfortable and had all the information you could possibly want at your fingertips. The hosts were always so responsive when we had a question and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay at this place again!!
