"First impressions count. I checked-in and was pleasantly given a room upgrade. Awesome. Breakfast was very tasty. No need to say more. Room is clean, staff are very good. What more to ask when staying in a hotel. A very good experience."

"Very cosy, comfortable room with a separate sitting area and bedroom. Very private setting. Enjoyed breakfast buffet (ala carte option incl), ala carte lunch, and dinner during my stay. I would like to thank the following staff who were always welcoming, friendly & helpful: Nanda (breakfast), Aida (dinner), Agit (lunch & breakfast). They deserve recognition from hotel management for their efforts & dedication. Also, thanks to Adi (kitchen), who made a special Javanese herbal drink for me during breakfast. BTW- the oxtail soup was really tasty. Little glitches such as mosquitoes in the dining area were quickly followed with remedial procedures promptly. Gym & Pool at level 9 are of ”boutique size.” but clean & well maintained. Overall, it was a nice stay."

"Really a beautiful and luxury hotel, nice lobby, room and environment. Very clean and comfortable. The bed is so big, luxury, comfortable, soft, like sleeping on the cloud. Wifi is also available and fast. The bathroom is really clean and spacious. Staff were friendly they will greet you warmly. The checkin process wqs qlso smooth. On the other side, the air-conditioner is too cold but luckily can be turned off. Lack of complimentary for a pricey hotel. Not even snacks or drinks. The deposit is too high which 2 million IDR for 2 nights (1 million per night). Recommended to pay in cash for fully and fast refund after checkout. Read somewhere using card can be charged. The breakfast is way too far from expectation for a luxury hotel. It doesn’t taste good, the pastry is too dry, the chili oil for dimsum is too bitter, other foods are also taste ordinary and some are dry. The variety is not really interesting. Not really have expensive and wow taste neither. Have two day breakfast and did not even bother to repeat on the second day. Tips i have read from other review, make sure you enter 2 adults during booking because if it stated only 1 adult even you paid for two person price, they will only let 1 person to have breakfast. Other are just make sure you are really a behave client who knows how to take care of the room and dress nicely (no slipper and wet) because this hotel is for rich and ViP people. Otherwise you’ll be treated less."

"Amazing venue and services! Everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good and rich. Fully recommend going to KITA restaurant, a very high quality Japanese food. Super informative reception, willing to help with other recommendations as well. The room was amazing, especially the suites. A great value for money!"

"We took the family king room which is to accomodate 3 adults. Check in time was 3pm, we arrived at 3.45pm but was told the room was not ready. However the staff at the check in counter gave us a temporary room (king deluxe room)to rest while we wait for our room to be ready. At 5pm they call saying the room was ready and we will be transfered to the our room. After we moved, we went out for dinner. At 10pm we went back to our room and realized that the sofabed was not ready and no pillow or blanket for the third adult to sleep. I call the guest service, and they came to set up. But i dont know what happened, they said the sofabed was broken so it cannot be set up. They will bring in an extra bed instead. The extra bed made the room less space to move around. I booked the room with sofabed is because i prefer to close it in day time so i have much space to roam around the room. That night also, i called the engineering team to repair the shower head holder. Because it seems not to hold the shower head properly which makes it difficult to use. They came an fixed it. But the next day, it became broken loose again. I gave up and just let it be. I dont expect this kind of room facilities from grand hyatt a five star hotel in Jakarta. Please maintain your rooms better. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciate and extremely happy for that."

"An amazing hotel right at the heart of the city. From the time you walk into their doors till check-out, the service is impeccable. The rooms are large and very clean with all the amenities. Fantastic gym, steam and sauna rooms while their pool side bar served a wicked Negroni. Breakfast was 5star with a huge spread. My only comment would be that the pool is very small (think of it as a lounging pool). Kudos to Xavier at the reception for even walking me to my room to explain everything. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone."
