Aquapalace Hotel Prague

Als Familie sollte das Aquapalace das Highlight der Prag-Reise werden. Ganz ehrlich: ein mega Highlight ist es nicht. Nettes Konzept an einem guten Standort außerhalb des Geschehens. Gut besucht ist es alle Male und für Kids ein absolutes Paradies. Viele verschiedene Rutschen, diverse Becken und weitere Möglichkeiten wie Sauna, Fitness etc. Restaurants laden zum Verweilen oder für Snacks ein. Man kauft alles über sein Bändchen und zahlt zum Schluss an der Kasse. Ist auch nett, denn wer schleppt schon gerne irgendwas mit zum Baden. Für uns persönlich sind 30° zu kalt für die Wassertemperatur. Und natürlich sind alle Whirlpools überfüllt. Aufwärmen kann man sich im Kleinkinderbereich. Liegen gibt es einige in den diversen Bereichen, aber kommt eine Familie mit z.B. 2 Kindern, liegen 4 Handtücher über die Liegen und weit und breit keiner zu sehen. Das ist hier recht schlecht gelöst und es interessiert keinen. Der Erste der kommt, schlägt sein Lager auf und ob man da ist oder nicht, spielt keine Rolle. Die Haarföns funktionieren nahezu gar nicht. Kostenpflichtig kann man sich etwas stärkere mieten. Ihr solltet also lieber euren Fön mitnehmen. Sauber ist es überall, denn die Damen sind stets hinterher alles fein zu machen. Das Parkticket kann dann ebenfalls an der Kasse bezahlt werden, da die Automaten (zumindest bei uns) keine Scheine annehmen. Alles in allem ist es für Kids etwas besonderes und macht mega Spaß. Aber für ca. 93 € (für die Wasserwelt) für ein Tagesticket für eine Familie finden wir das Gesamtkonzept nicht ausreichend und müssten kein zweites Mal hierher kommen. Des Weiteren ist zu beachten, dass der Außenbereich noch nicht geöffnet ist.

We visited the aquapark second time. Our family of 5 (kids ages 5, 8 and 12) stayed in the Aquapalace hotel which is directly connected with the aquapark. Most of the hotel rooms are a little bit outdated but clean and functional. The food was also OK. The aquapark is very big and there is something for everyone. The kids had a lot of fun. There are areas for all the ages. The temperature was right and we were not cold. There is also a nice big gym, saunas, shops and a big spa. There are bars and places to eat all around. Outside is a Minigolf and a small playground. During the winter the outdoor areas are closed. The only thing that we didn’t like was the parking under the hotel because the entrance is very narrow. The parking is overpriced 12€ per day. Overall we do recommend this place.

Excellent stay at Aquapalace hotel. The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean, and breakfast had many options - also a lot for children. Service was ok, and the water park is dreamy for kids. It's a few minutes walk through the first floor of the hotel. There are more food and drink choices inside the park, and you charge the room with a special watch-like bracelet.
