Surrounded by Forest Service or Conservancy lands on both sides, this home is a peaceful getaway, perfect for families and friends. This is NOT a party house. It is a family neighborhood with full-time residents. Noise travels across the meadow and can disturb residents. We have a strict noise and light policy (10 pm to 8 am) out of respect for our neighbors and El Dorado County regulations. The first floor has a kitchen planned for guests who enjoy cooking; the kitchen is well-equipped. The kitchen is open, and the cook is not isolated from other guests. We have shovels in the entry to clear steps and driveway if required.CAUTION: Exercise extreme caution as areas may be slippery and icy before and after snow removal operations have taken place.The County of El Dorado plows the roads outside of the city limits. Berms created after snow removal operators have cleared a driveway will be removed on their next snow clearing day.Snow removal contracts only covers the driveway and within two feet of any structure/car. The bungalow has one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a shower/tub and one LOW CEILING LOFT ROOM upstairs with a queen bed and a twin bed. Outside we have a wonderful fenced shared side yard for you to enjoy outdoors. This is a great spot to escape from city life but close enough to many shops, restaurants, beaches, ski resorts, and the casinos at Stateline. We as well as VRBO highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance in case any situation comes up as we have a strict cancelation policy. Parking in the village is very limited, especially during the winter months, we have a parking spot for one car located directly in front of your cabin.
