Bandipur Hillview Homestay

Such an amazing place to stay. Property is situated with in Nature and very pleasant environment. Mr.Karthikeyan and his team at the property are very friendly and loved their hospitality. They also took us to a walk in and around the property and it was really fun exploring the real beauty of nature. Every second spent here was too memorable. Rooms are not luxurious or cannot be compared with 5 star hotels but they are neat & clean. hygiene was well maintained. People who work in the property are natives and anyone who visit this place do not need to worry about the safety. People who work here are grown up with elephants and wild animals since their childhood and they can very well handle the situation. All we need to do is, "let them handle and take care". We are 100% in safe hands. Initially I was so worried about the food but believe me, you will feel in love with the food. Bandipur Hill view homestay has got the best chef. Cons: 1. Restrooms doesn't have proper water supply and heater facilities. 2. No DG back up. Initially midnight fan made huge cry sound in inverter/DG. Later from 2AM fan didn't work at all. 3. Lots of insects and lizards creep into the room bcos there is a gap in the door below. 4. Rooms have full fungus on the walls. 5. No safety. There is no proper fencing or compound wall. It is near the base of a mountain and animals can easily enter. Pros: 1. Food was decent though they hesitated to provide what we asked for. 2. Location view is good.
