L'infrastructure du château vaut le ****étoiles,
Cependant, l'hébergement à l'Orangerie n'a pas eu notre entière satisfaction: problème du bruit causé par la porte d'accès, pot support du balai pour les toilettes pas très propre, le lit composé de 2 matelas côte-à-côte dont les bourrelets tissus se font ressentir une fois allongé, pas très top po pour se détendre en fin de journée)ur des personnes âgées.
Néanmoins, le séjour sur 2 jours fut très agréable. Nous retiendrons: la qualité et la gentillesse de l'ensemble du personnel du SPA, l'excellence de la qualité de l'espace pour le bien-être, l'amabilité sans faille de tout le personnel du château et les 2 soupers pris sur place ont été fort appréciés par notre couple (excellence des plats proposés, calme et musique de fond).
Nous comptons y revenir pour nos prochains déplacements mais sous certaines conditions quant à l'hébergement de nuit oups!

Shame about the room
Outwardly the Hotel looks great and the main house has real character and charm. We however had a room in the orangery which is a detached building of modern construction. The room was not a bad size, was fairly clean although there were specific areas like the waste bins that could have been cleaner. The room had two single beds pushed together which got further and further apart as the night passed. The main issue with the room was the lack of water pressure to provide adéquate flow for the shower, but even worse was the lack of sound insulation that had been used in the construction of the building. We could hear every step, door opening, TV being switched on etc. throughout our stay. The pillows were also dreadful and the Duvet hardly big enough for the bed. A shame really as the rest of the experience was pretty good, with the restaurant food being very tasty and reasonably priced too.

Very comfortable, in the suburbs of Perigueax. Staff very helpful, good breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool, outdoor clean unheated.

Beautiful place with a fabulous restaurant. Very kind, friendly staff. The rooms are very modern and extremely comfortable. Superb location just outside Perigueux. We cycled along the river paths and it was glorious. Nice pool area and stunning chateau.

Hotel is kinda cute. cardboard walls. You can hear everything from the other rooms including the toilet part. Staff is extremely ignorant. They do not have the caliber of hôtel to support their attitude. Simply avoid that place. Not worth it.
