"I traveled to participate in the triathlon and stayed at a hotel that was ideally located next to the lake. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. However, my experience with the restaurant staff was frustrating. On the first day, I arrived for lunch and was refused service because they claimed it was "too late"—yet they proceeded to seat and serve other customers who arrived after me. The following morning at breakfast, the staff approached me multiple times to remind me of the 10 AM cutoff, even though they didn’t give the same reminders to other guests. I’m unsure whether this was due to me being a Westerner or because my Mandarin isn’t fluent, but both dining experiences left me feeling singled out and disappointed."

"🏠 I checked hotels a month in advance for the National Day holiday. This one was not expensive and had good reviews, so I booked 3 hotels for 3 nights each. 🌸 I was very surprised when I first entered the door. The Chinese garden was very artistic, and the decoration was restored to its original state, with a new Chinese style. The room was big enough. It was 60 square meters and had a large tatami, which was very suitable for families with children. There was no problem with the hygiene of the room, with a bathtub and shower. The public area of ​​the hotel was large, with a small bridge, where you could feed fish and write. There were several books in the room, which was also tasteful. The hotel was near the residential area, and there was a vegetable market nearby, which was very lively. There were also several delicious restaurants (Shaanxi Restaurant and seafood noodles were highly recommended). It was also very close to several major attractions, and the location was good. 🌿 But it was a pity that maybe the boss didn't focus on the operation of the hotel, saying that it was mainly based on catering, so there were still some details lacking in the accommodation. When I took the initiative to add a butler in advance, I found out that the parking lot was not near the hotel when I arrived at the place, and I had to ask every day to get a parking ticket. On the last day, the hotel took over a wedding, and all kinds of decoration materials were piled up at the door. A group of decoration workers shuttled around the hotel, completely turning it into a construction site. In fact, it would be better to say hello to the guests. If I had been informed earlier, I would not have arranged to take photos before leaving. Fortunately, I left on this day, otherwise the privacy would have been greatly reduced. 🌿 In addition, the private rooms for dining are decorated very high-end, but the food is average and unremarkable. The dishes are directly prepared, and I don’t even know how much the meal standard is if I don’t ask. Breakfast is too bad. Every day is exactly the same bun, and it’s all vegetarian. After eating for three consecutive days, we finally went out to buy food for ourselves. There is no coffee. It is said that the coffee machine is broken, but it is not repaired. At least a few packets of instant coffee can be regarded as an attitude, but no. I clearly saw that the guests ordered takeaway coffee (not only us have this demand), but the hotel seems to turn a deaf ear. ❤️ In fact, the hardware of the hotel is good. If it is managed seriously, it can be comparable to Qingpu. I hope it will change next time I come."

"The surrounding environment wasn't great; there was no fence, just a few single-story houses. Although it was advertised as being near a park, it felt unfinished, like a construction site. There was also a very narrow road leading in from the main gate, only wide enough for one car at a time, with no designated parking area. When we arrived at noon, there was nowhere to park, and the guesthouse owner helped us move an electric scooter. In the afternoon, as we were about to drive out, we ran into the scooter owner (we're not sure if he was a hotel staff member), who stood on the front of the scooter and yelled at us, preventing us from leaving. The room itself was indeed new, but the materials used weren't very good. Upon entering, there was a strong formaldehyde smell, giving it a slightly shabby feel. The toiletries were also of poor quality; the towels and bath towels shed lint, leaving white fibers all over our faces and bodies after use. The disposable toilet seat covers provided in the room didn't fit properly, indicating the owner hadn't checked them. There were dead insects in the room, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned at all. The shower gel was new, but the shampoo was leftover from before; the small bottle was only half full, not even enough for short hair. The toilet paper hadn't been changed; there was only one roll, clearly leftover from the previous customer. The water pressure was low at night, making it impossible to flush the toilet. 😖 The breakfast selection was very limited, and the tableware wasn't sterilized; plates and bowls were piled up with water and left for customers to use. I've stayed at Huazhu B&B many times before, but this was probably the worst experience."
