The total for the two-day stay was $195.50. BUT, we paid $293.45. Dates of Stay: 11/12/21 - 11/14/21 I was billed $97.95 (My Husband's Credit Card) for the first night's stay. Megon billed me again $195.50 (My Credit Card) upon checkout. Megon at the front desk was asked Not to Use my husband's credit card as the payment source. Therefore, I handed her my VISA Card as the payment source. That night, my husband received an alert from his bank regarding the $97.95 transaction. We visited the front desk to question Megon about the $97.95 charge; why was that card used? And why did we have to pay for the first night? She stated that she had changed the credit card per my request, which was an untrue statement. Before going to the front desk, I accessed my Marriott account and discovered that my husband's card was still listed as the primary payment source. However, after speaking with her, I returned to our room, logged back into my Marriott account, and discovered that Megon had just removed my husband's credit card. Why Lie? I contacted Marriott's customer care three times regarding this matter. I provided proof of payment charged to my husband's card, which verified the 1st transaction in the amount of $97.95. AND, provided proof of payment of the 2nd payment from my credit card in the amount of $195.50. Also, a copy of the hotel bill was included in the email to Marriott customer care, requesting credit of $97.95 back to my husband's credit card. Since November 14, 2021, we have made several attempts for reimbursement, but that has yet been realized! Megon's behavior was deliberate and inexcusable. She also placed two separate hold in the amount of $300.00 each to my credit card, Marriott Customer Care resolved this particular issue.
