This was a last minute stay and was so perfect for us!!! The bed was incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful & serene. No Marco Polo around the pool!! I would highly recommend this for a couples getaway!! Oh, and the young ladies on staff there are the cherry on top!! So sweet & helpful with timely communication, taking care of every request with happy smile!!

Perfection in every way. It’s truly just that simple. Every aspect of the property is perfectly curated and maintained, exuding a quiet luxury — you won’t find pretentiousness here. My husband and stayed in Room 6, a Garden Suite. 🩵Architecture 🩵Pool 🩵Happy hour 🩵Breakfast 🩵Porches 🩵Honor bar 🩵Courtyard 🩵Location 🩵History 🩵Owners and staff Just go! You won’t be disappointed.

86 Cannon is like the Ritz of Charleston! Such a fun, cute, and safe Boutique Hotel on Cannon Street! From the arrival to the departure everything was 5⭐️! Some of the highlights were the wine/cheese hour, and the amazing breakfast. The little touches of champagne upon arrival and chocolates at night were so sweet and unexpected! Another amazing part of this hotel is the very quiet and beautiful hotel pool. Perfect for a relaxing morning or evening! I will rave about this hotel for years to come, we hope to be back soon!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at 86 Cannon. The property is stunning and offers a peaceful escape, with beautifully designed, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable rooms. The staff was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. The location is also a plus, with great restaurants and coffee shops just a short walk away. The only suggestion I have is to add more lounge chairs at the pool to better accommodate guests. That said, 86 Cannon has become our go-to spot in Charleston—I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

86Canon is not only extremely charming, but also a luxury stay! The food was delicious, the pool exquisite and relaxing, and the room was dreamy! The staff and owner are amazing and so personable. I can’t wait to go back!

Quiet quaint clean elegant with layers of hospitality and extra attention to detail. This will be a regular stop for me in Charleston.10 min walk to King street and close to a couple of great restaurants and coffee toward king street. Try sorghum and salt and southbound restaurants just up the street. Also located in a nice spot to do walks south and east to the French Quarter and water front. Staff was terrific and really cared.

Gorgeous luxury inn in the heart of Charleston, spectacular service! Rooms are well appointed, every detail is covered. The saltwater pool with precious pink umbrellas in right out of a fairy tale. The wine and cheese happy hour on the beautiful veranda was a major highlight! We will be back soon.

The Cottage Suite at 86 Cannon is the best place my husband and I have stayed in our 25 years of marriage. We stay solely at “Boutique Hotels” or “Bed and Breakfasts” in amazing locations and still 86 Cannon tops them all! It is in a beautiful, historic, laid back setting yet it has all the amenities…a delicious breakfast that can be eaten in the main house cafe, outside on the porch or in your room. There’s a small onsite pool with a pool house that includes a shower, restroom and beverages. There’s a wine and cheese pairing offered each evening and chocolates are left on the doorknob. In addition, bikes are offered for your enjoyment as well as water bottles (which were a lifesaver in the humidity of early June. Besides all of the wonderful amenities, the design and decor of 86 Cannon are beautifully put together. I look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed in the Bungalow Suite for two nights. It was the perfect private getaway we needed. The main home is beautiful and well appointed. Champagne at check in was a nice touch. We rode the bikes all around town restaurant hopping. Highly recommend the Bungalow Suite if you’re looking for privacy and perfectly executed design. We will definitely be back!
