The check in was very pleasant and the staff will accompany you to the room and give a good intro of the place. The Gym and Pool is huge and well design. The Pool is very instagramable. The room is tastefully design by combining cold classic Chinese with modern touch . The location at Tai Koo Li is perfect for walking over to the prime shopping at Chun xi road

We were upgraded from a 70 sqm room to a 90 sqm suite. The location is superb, and the soundproofing is excellent! The room itself was nice and spacious, though there was a slight, faint odor. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and we left feeling very full and satisfied. They even provided a Dyson hairdryer, so no need to bring your own! The shower pressure was excellent, and the bedding was very comfortable. There was even a washing machine with a drying function, which was a lifesaver for emergencies! The only slight drawback was the lack of a smart bidet toilet; my backside missed the warmth, haha. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

## Facilities All the essentials were provided, including welcome candies in the room and a well-stocked mini-bar. Basic facilities like the swimming pool and gym were also available. However, the standard room type did not have a smart/bidet toilet, and the bed felt a bit small. ## Cleanliness Excellent, ensuring a very comfortable and reassuring stay. ## Ambiance & Location The hotel itself is beautiful, and its location is quite good, offering convenient access to various places. ## Service Overall, the service was good. However, I noticed from previous reviews that guests are usually contacted beforehand to confirm their check-in preferences, which didn't happen in my case. Additionally, food deliveries are not brought up to the room; guests need to collect them from the designated delivery locker. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very welcoming upon check-in, and the concierge took the time to thoroughly explain the room's facilities.

The Temple House is truly my top hotel in Chengdu; I absolutely love it! The overall experience perfectly embodies The House Collective's philosophy: 'Houses not hotels' – it's genuinely so much more than just a hotel. I deeply appreciate their service and the attentive way they handle everything, making it feel just like coming home. Although there isn't a dedicated butler for each room, every aspect is managed with a personal, butler-like touch. Each time I entered my room, I'd discover a new surprise; I've never had such a continuously delightful experience. From the coconut water and handmade cookies, to the hydrating face masks, and the thoughtfully written personalized note... I sincerely hope the entire hotel industry can adopt The Temple House's approach – it's a truly innovative hotel concept. I'll definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we experienced the best service of anywhere we have visited across China. Every person from the man at the door to the ayi in the garden to the waiting staff and more treated us with the utmost courtesy, kindness and helpfulness. A memorable stay and we would love to return one day

The beds (including the rollaway bed for my 13 year old!) very comfortable and toiletries provided were generous and luxurious. Room was spacious. Great location, shopping and eateries all within walking distrance. A big thank you for all the staff, they were all very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to go back.

Perfect experience at The Temple House again. After 8 years, we have finally returned back to the hotel, from the Bell service, to check in hotel staffs, to the house keeping, the breakfast service and customer service, there is literally NOTHING I would like to change. Perfection is the only word that suits this hotel~ located at the heart of the most happening place!!! Cassidy n Dennis were amazingly helpful to our stay, the smiles on their faces, the caring words from their mouth, the thoughtful reminders…nothing beats a great staff at the hotel that completes the wonderful journey!!! Definitely coming back again n again~
