What I liked most about this hotel is the location. There is so much life and food and things to do. It’s in a non vehicle area and you gave to walk 50m from the taxi drop off but this is easy. DiDi worked well from this drop off/pick up. Many thanks to Xioa Long for all her assistance.

Well. This was one of my favourite hotels since being in china. I solo travel a lot. I arrived late at 2 am and I was welcomed by a young man his name translated to ” the start of spring ” but I don't know how to write his name in Chinese, I'm sorry about that. But he was very kind and told me some things about the hotel and showed me how my room worked. He welcomed me with beverages and offered to take my bag. The room itself was very clean , traditional and modern. The nights were quiet with no sound from the hallway and the room smelt fresh. No smoke Odor. In the lobby there's a beautiful garden I took many photos but I just cleared my phone onto a memory card last night as I took THAT many photos during my stay in Chengdu. I would definitely come back to this hotel. I'm hoping to bring my family next year !

Amazing customer service proficient in Chinese and English! Upgraded our single rooms to double room for free and was welcoming for a late 1am check-in time. Very clean and modern rooms with a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff willing to make coffee for us each morning, free umbrellas, a small garden courtyard to wind down, probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in for this price range! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the city but away from busy streets, tucked in near a temple and side street eateries yet only a 10 min taxi to popular attractions. One flaw: No designated car park for taxi. Have to walk 20 metres to a side street, not a big deal but please be aware as it might be hard to find. There is a sign but we didn’t notice at 1am haha. We initially booked a three-day stay through another platform for around 480-490 CNY in late July. The first day was so comfortable that we immediately extended our stay for another three days via Ctrip for just over 500 CNY. Of our 8-day, 7-night trip, only the very last day required us to stay near the airport for our flight; we were truly sad to leave Ruicheng Hotel. Traveling as a family of three with an older child, we needed a family room. The one we booked was a suite with two separate areas: an inner room with a 2-meter king-size bed and an outer room with a 1.2-meter single bed. The mattresses felt like a premium silicone type, so turning over didn't disturb anyone. The bedding, which felt incredibly soft and high-quality, likely contained goose down. This suite also featured a bathtub, and we were able to use disposable liners, which was a nice touch. After long days of sightseeing, it was perfect to come back and soak our feet. The housekeeping staff were incredibly thoughtful; they left us plenty of bottled water daily. One day, I even discovered that my charging cable had been neatly tidied up! The bathroom was always spotless, and toiletries were well-arranged. Front desk service was exceptional. This hotel frequently hosts conferences and banquets, and the entire staff demonstrates high professionalism. As first-time visitors to Chengdu, our six-day stay truly felt like home. The buffet breakfast is highly recommended; it offers a wide variety of dishes and is available until 10 AM, so many guests treat it as an early lunch. We noticed many families with children also chose this hotel. We often requested extra water, paper cups, and other amenities, which were always delivered to our room free of charge. A huge commendation goes to the sweet, round-faced young lady from the 26th-floor executive level who delivered items; whenever we troubled her, especially during peak tourist times, we'd see her running around, clearly working very hard and a bit out of breath 😀. The subway stations for Wenshu Monastery and Luomashi are both conveniently close by. I highly recommend 'Lao Wei Dao Sichuan Cuisine' at the New Times Plaza branch, situated in a residential area right by an intersection. It's a charming, small restaurant on a side street. Chatting with the owner couple while enjoying authentic local dishes truly offers a genuine 'back-alley' travel experience. Wenshu Monastery nearby was our favorite attraction; it isn't overly commercialized. We only managed to visit Wenshu Monastery briefly on our last day, but I suggest allocating more time. Inside, you can find tea tasting, incense offerings, and a library, many of which are free. It also houses numerous paintings and calligraphies by Feng Zikai, creating a profound cultural atmosphere. It's a very serene place, absolutely worth visiting to find inner peace.

Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained, and the air conditioning was quiet. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, with daily housekeeping service. Environment: It was incredibly quiet, with absolutely no noise disturbance. Location: The K exit of Wenshu Monastery Subway Station is less than 50 meters away. A delicious Laozhao Hotpot restaurant is just 200 meters in the opposite direction, with Wenshu Monastery directly across from it. This prime location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring various attractions by subway, which was a key reason I booked this hotel. There's also a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea shop right downstairs. Service: Xiao Xin and Xiao Yue provided exceptionally warm and enthusiastic service. They even helped us carry our luggage downstairs when we checked out. (Kudos to the management for such amazing staff!) Drawbacks: 1. The room was a bit compact, but despite its size, it was fully equipped and had everything we needed. 2. There's no elevator. However, the highest floor is only the second, so it's not a strenuous climb, and the staircase is quite short. What truly stood out was that the front desk attendant, who seemed like a superwoman, single-handedly carried two of our heavy suitcases up to the room – we were incredibly touched by her thoughtfulness! Overall: This hotel is a solid choice and definitely won't disappoint. My family and I were all very satisfied with our stay, and we'll certainly choose to stay here again on our next visit to Chengdu. We were so exhausted from our travels that we forgot to take any photos, but rest assured, the room looked exactly as depicted in the promotional pictures.

Warm, peaceful, and full of love — thank you! 🌸 We truly loved our stay at Louis Hotel Chengdu. The room was perfectly clean, and the bed linen was so soft and gentle. The mattress and pillows were the best we’ve ever had — it felt like home. Even though I usually don’t sleep well in this time zone, I finally got real rest here. The private in-room pool was a big surprise for our children — they were so happy and excited! It made our stay very special. Everything in the hotel is made with care and love, from the room design to the smallest details. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful — thank you so much for your warm welcome and support! I highly recommend this hotel to families, couples, or anyone who wants a peaceful and joyful place in Chengdu. Thank you again — we will definitely come back! 🙏

It was a great trip to Chengdu, though for 4 days only. My stay in hotel 西遊里 is satisfactory. It is nearby a MTR station. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed with enough spaces and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and fruits provided there. The room is spacious, new and AI control for all amenities in room.. Good services at front desk, easily communicated with them by wechat. The room is cleaned well as well. All in all, satisfactory stay.

The metro Luomashi is very near the hotel, which is 2 stops away from the buzzling Chunxi Street. It's easy to get around to the places of attraction. The room is spacious and view is stunning at level 29. The air con is cold and room is clean. There is a convenience store nearby where we bought our water supply every day. Breakfast is nice with good variety but it will be great if there is change of menu as we have had the same foods every day. I like the noodles station the best. They also serve fresh fruits and the coffee machine serves good roasted coffee. Will recommend this hotel if you are visiting Chengdu for the first time.

The room I painstakingly selected before my trip did not disappoint! It was very spacious, the bed was large, and the design was well-considered. Traveling with two kids, it offered ample space for them to move around while still providing us with some privacy. Crucially, it was spotlessly clean, which made our stay very comfortable and reassuring. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge. We only discovered this on our second day (oops!), so we packed them up to enjoy on our high-speed train journey. Furthermore, the breakfast spread was incredibly generous, and the 'Zhong Zhong Mian' noodles were absolutely divine!

Excellent butler service! Modern Chinese siheyuan in a quiet neighbourhood. Loved the zen vibes and garden. Liked that toilet bowl is warm. I requested for a cake to celebrate my husband's birthday. They quietly placed it in the room, so my hubby was surprised when he came back. Breakfast selection is simple but sufficient.
