Room was very clean. Location superb (walking 10 mins to IFS). Service was great. The aircon was having a slight noise when we turned it on and I went down to the receptionist for help, she immediately called the technician staff to check our room and get it fixed. Highly recommend and would come back in my next visit.

Exceptional Service and a Great Stay I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was truly outstanding — the entire front desk team was excellent, especially staff members 33-66, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We initially received a room that had a slight smell of cigarette smoke, but the staff handled it immediately and switched us to a new room with no hassle at all. This is a great hotel, and I will definitely be coming back again!

This hotel has an excellent location, situated right in Chunxi Road, making it convenient to get around and access various amenities such as dining and shopping. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with good service in all aspects. Upon check-in, guests receive a complimentary glass of lemon tea. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process is efficient. The breakfast provided was satisfactory, offering a variety of items. There is also a hot beverage option available in the restaurant every evening, along with some light snacks. The room I stayed in was comfortable, with great views and ample space. The service was particularly warm and welcoming. If I were to visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose this hotel for my stay.

Very Good Stay with Minor Quirks I had a very pleasant stay at the Mercure Chengdu. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to Chunxi Road. For those needing a late-night bite, there's an abundance of fantastic street food right across the road. A particular highlight was the booking package that included afternoon tea and ice cream—a lovely touch! I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast as I was too tired and opted to sleep in instead. The check-in process was a bit haphazard initially. The first front desk staff who attended to us picked up the phone and became occupied with the call, leaving us waiting. However, another staff member, Li Hao, immediately took over. She was fantastic and even added us on WeChat for easier communication, which was extremely helpful throughout our stay. I was planning to subscribe to their membership, but unfortunately, the phone line had some issues and I couldn't get through. The stay was overall comfortable, though there was an occasional cigarette smell in the bathroom vent and a faint sewage smell at times. Nothing major, but noticeable. Despite these minor issues, it was a positive experience and I would consider staying again.

I accidentally stumbled upon a true hidden gem of a hotel! The location is absolutely superb, offering stunning night views of Chunxi Road, and Taikoo Li is literally right downstairs. The customer service staff (especially the young lady who assisted us) were incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. Knowing we were a family of three, they proactively prepared everything in triple portions. We didn't even have to ask; they informed us of everything we might need to know in advance, which was incredibly considerate! ❤️ The room itself was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped. At over 60 square meters, it was wonderfully spacious. Even with carpeting, it was immaculate, and there was a faint, pleasant fragrance. Enjoying a drink by the window while taking in Chengdu's breathtaking night view was truly a wonderfully relaxing experience!

35–40 minutes taxi ride from Chengdu Tianfu Airport Location was not hard to find. Construction happening near the entrance to the hotel. 24 hour reception, that’s a plus, I arrived around 3am and checking in was a breeze. Got one keycard and room only gets powered on by inserting. (Including ac) 2 out of 3 elevators working, not an issue until its peak time for workers as the building shares the hotel and office buildings. You may have to wait 5-6 minutes for an elevator. Also, people here are not shy in squeezing in on the elevator for some reason. I was on the 16th floor. My only issue was that the soundproofing is really bad, the cleaning staff room was next to my room so I heard every door slam for almost 2-3 hours daily. It’s April, it gets chilly at night and hot in the morning. The air con remote never went below 26 even when I changed it to 21-22. The air blowing speed actually works, at night in the middle of your sleep you will get cold! Haha The television is a little outdated but who watches television while on vacation?? The outlet and plugs are a huge plus! Having usb to it really helped. Washing clothes was great! It was on the 2nd floor and it was free including detergent. The only nightmare was the dryers. 4 washing machines 2 dryers. The dryers did not dry at all, atleast for me and another person after one hour of only drying sleepwear. So I took them back tot he room and hung them on the hangers (6) provided in the closet. The hotel is next to two pharmacies. The nearest family mart is across the street and you have to take the above head pedestrian walkway over, which is quite a walk. Check out was a breeze. I would definitely come again.

I travelled here with my kids and parents so having the suite was a great choice. It was well equipped and the support from the hotel staff was great (the Jasmine tea was delicious, and they replenished our water regularly..) Location wise it was part of a mall and easy access to coffee joints, restaurants etc (their Cantonese restaurant at Yanlord was very good and we went back twice) and if you wanted to go to main tourist areas like Chunxi/Tianfu it was all very walkable. There were laundry/dryer options which was great too The kids enjoyed the kids club. Cons Toilet had no bidet Would prefer having a sort of suction vent in the toilets The remote for the curtains weren't always 💯

I recently stayed at a hotel in Chengdu and had a generally positive experience. The location was excellent—centrally situated with easy access to the metro, local eateries, and major attractions like Chunxi Road and Kuanzhai Alley. It made getting around the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. My room was comfortable and quiet, with all the essentials provided for a restful stay. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. The only issue was the service, which, while not terrible, was a bit underwhelming. Staff seemed somewhat indifferent and occasionally slow to respond to requests. There was a lack of attention to detail at the front desk, and communication could have been more professional. Nothing major went wrong, but the overall service didn’t quite match the quality of the hotel’s facilities. Still, for the price and location, it was a solid choice and offered good value. I’d recommend it to travelers who prioritize comfort and convenience, but with the caveat that service may not be as polished as expected.

Facilities: Excellent! The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and they even thoughtfully provided a spare charger. The massive 2.4-meter bed was incredibly spacious for our entire family, accommodating both elderly and children. Our eldest child had their own single bed, giving them plenty of personal space. Service: Outstanding! Any service requests were immediately addressed. The availability of dry cleaning service was a fantastic bonus! We had a very comfortable stay, and the surrounding area was incredibly convenient. Everything from dining and entertainment to watching a Sichuan Opera show was within easy walking distance. My husband kept complimenting me on such a great booking! 😊 The hotel also offered a complimentary Chinese afternoon tea, served from 2 PM to 5 PM, which was a delightful surprise. I especially enjoyed one of the chilled pastries.

Great location. The apartment provides everything we needed. It also comes with a home speaker with good sound! Only there was a bit confusion while check in. It’s important to contact the landlord before checking in, in order to receive the key - we weren’t aware about that.
