Chewelah Motel and RV Park

I had to travel to the area for business and decided to stay an extra couple days. This is a very nice and clean local hotel. The rates were amazing and the hospitality was even better. I will definitely be back to enjoy this area and looking to bring some friends with me to enjoy the mountains around and all the things to do and we will definitely stay here.

This property worked fine for us. It is about what we expected it would be.

The shower was dirty and no place to put your soap etc unless you were tall and could reach above. the shower.

Pics posted are of past. Getting quite dated now sorry to report. The bathroom was not very clean at all so some new cleaning staff is a big must. Grit and grime and filth build up in shower and outside of shower and took pics as proof. I never go in there without flops and not right. Fridge barely gets cold and I did not feel right to complain and or feel uncomfortable about it complaining after my experience I have had with the not so clean bathroom. Tv has been a frustration too as cannot just watch tv as in sports live and mostly just streaming and Family Feud it seems like to fill the down time here. Tv remote will not even work but again, I did not feel comfortable addressing this after the whole bathroom scenario as leaving tomorrow anyways. Owners are nice though and good at promoting other businesses in this area! I just cannot see myself returning ever though and to just make it all the way to Spokane next time, just 1 hr away. Clean and quiet Clean and quiet place to stay. Good rate too.

I would never in a thousand years recommend this pit to anyone. The fire alarm went off all night requiring us to remove a door just to get to it. The grounds were not maintained and disgusting. The front and back doors were broken and unlevel. The water heater did not work and the basement flooded. We looked the other way as a courtesy to the hosts but their treatment of us was despicable. They were given the opportunity to show respect and grace. Instead they review bombed us on Airbnb blaming us for things that were broken to begin with. Not to mention the disrespect was unacceptable. I will never in a thousand years recommend this dilapidated establishment to anyone.
