"Very satisfied. This trip, I first stayed in a popular hotel outside the old city of Chiang Mai, and then stayed in Cheeva Dee. Although Cheeva Dee is smaller than the previous hotel, it has all the necessary services. Especially breakfast, although it is not a buffet, but each main dish is exquisite, delicious and beautiful. No wonder the reviews mentioned the delicious breakfast when booking the hotel. The room is also Chiang Mai/Thailand local style, very comfortable.
I will strongly recommend friends to stay here!"
"Very good hotel, very quiet, very close to the night market and Tha Pae Gate, you can walk to it. The service is very good, the staff is very warm, recommend the restaurant here, the fruit is so delicious, the rice has a variety of pineapple nuts, super delicious, the experience is super!"
"1. Quiet. Not at Chiang Mai Airport, not facing the road, few inn guests
2. The price is cheap. Breakfast is not included, but it is convenient to have breakfast around
3. Located in the northeast corner of the old city, next to the moat, there is a small temple outside."

"In a quiet location in the old city, but very close to Thapae Gate. The hotel has a very comfortable small garden, the landscape is designed and matched, outdoor tables and chairs are scattered in the garden, sitting in it is very comfortable to eat and drink, the pasta in the restaurant tastes good, breakfast is ordered, staple fruits and drinks can be ordered without limit. The room size is OK, the facilities in the room are limited, no toothbrush and toothpaste are provided, the bathroom is not big, I don't think there is a problem with the water pressure, for this price, it is worth it."
"The facilities are average, the refrigerator has no electricity and can't hide food, and the TV in the room is broken and can't be turned on. The staff in the hotel felt average. At first I wanted to charge my deposit but then told me not to pay it. I pressed the reason and ignored me. I felt reluctant to answer questions."
"To be honest ~ In addition to the excellent location, 10 minutes walk from Taipei Gate, other cost-effective, no parking lot, small swimming pool and MD boutique shared, swimming charge of 100š· service fee, old bed linen towels are very dark, bathroom is painted Wall, no window, no fan, bathing was boring, only stayed one night, did not stay!"
"Very satisfied. I used to stay at the M5 Hotel next door. I saw KIRI by chance and vowed to stay here next time. Staying during the Sky Lantern Festival, I booked more than a month in advance and only got 2 nights, so letās stay first! It would be great if I could stay here the whole time! ! The environment is really great. You must stay on the first floor. The space is private and the price is right."
"Pros:
- The cost is budget-friendly.
- The room is clean and quiet.
- Staff are friendly and welcoming.
- Location is great.
- wi-fi connection speed is good and stable.
- water pressure is strong
Cons:
- No toothbrush and slippers are provided in the rooms.
- There isnāt an elevator in the hotel."
"Just thought that the water had just flooded for a few months. Arrived at the entrance of an abandoned hotel The side to Lamphun was closed, so we had to detour to the other side. The hotel itself was pale. Like this place used to be a temporary hotel and changed to a daily basis. The bathroom door cannot be closed too."
"I traveled with my family. My sister chose the hotel. I didn't have to worry about anything during the whole trip. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is also very close to the airport. It only takes a few minutes to get there by taxi. The hotel is very close to the ancient city. It is just a few steps away. It is also close to the shopping mall. There are many places to eat nearby. In short, this local hotel with characteristics at this price is still highly recommended"

JJoLimThis trip makes it worth travelling to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Our 5D4N stays was amazing, cosy and location is super convenient to any night markets, shopping mall and even to supermarket etc.
Thank u to all the staff for making the room with birthday deco and complimentary cakes.
Only one thing is the noise level especially you booked staying the corner room.
Overall is excellent!! Including their breakfast
Will visit again soon !!

HHui Xian KwokA truly unforgettable first trip to Chiang Mai, all thanks to Chala Number 6.
This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. When our driver dropped us by the roadside, I was briefly unsureāthere was no typical drop-off area, and the hotel was nestled beside a school. I started worrying if Iād made the right choice, especially with my mom traveling with me.
But those doubts vanished the moment the bellboy crossed the street to greet us and carry our bags. From that point on, everything was seamless.
Our room was ready before the official check-in time (bonus point right there šŖ). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and incredibly Instagram-worthy. Traditional music plays softly in the background, creating a calming, almost spiritual atmosphere.
One of the biggest surprises? Complimentary afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm. Iām usually not a fan of traditional desserts, but theirs were so thoughtfully curated and visually stunningāsome even reminded me of Nyonya kuih from home.
Breakfast was simple but included local Thai items. One dish made from sticky rice, coconut milk, and egg wrapped in banana leaves brought back memories for my momāit tasted just like her childhood.
It rained almost every day during our stay, and at night we could hear the sounds of natureācroaking toads and gentle rainfall. My mom said it felt like we had traveled back in time.
Thereās also a temple right across the road. As someone whoās a little superstitious, I found comfort in that peaceful presence š .
Location-wise, it couldnāt be better. The Sunday Market literally starts at the hotelās doorstep, and thereās a 7-Eleven just a 2-minute walk away. A few minutes further is Lila Thai MassageāI didnāt get to try it myself, but Iāve heard nothing but great reviews.
Chala Number 6 made this mother-daughter trip so special. Iām truly grateful for the kind service, the thoughtful details, and the peaceful atmosphere. The price? Well worth it.
Thank you, Chala Number 6, for taking such good care of us. Weāll remember this stay for a long time. šāļø

GGuest UserBeautiful how with large bright bedrooms! The swimming pool is beautiful too! Staff are extremely attentive. Hotel is so close to the main district for restaurants/bars within a 5min walk but still quiet at night. Would absolutely recommend!
Vverena liethanks to Miss Cher at the Front Office ā warm, kind, and truly wonderful!.
Hotel have a good facilities for drop off at tourism spot, it's very good for travellers
GGuest UserI rarely write reviews for hotels, but I must write this one. Very good hotel, warm service. The service staff will think of small details. My daughter stayed in bed in the morning, and the breakfast manager prepared a takeaway box to help us prepare breakfast for her to take back. All questions about the itinerary were answered. We encountered the largest flood in history in Chiang Mai, and all the itineraries were disrupted. The hotel was in the worst-hit area, and they considered us from beginning to end and did their best to arrange it. We took a small boat, and four hotel waiters, including a deputy manager, pushed the boat in the chest-deep water. It took an hour to reach the land. The hotel arranged other hotels to get us out of trouble. Thank you very much. A memorable hotel!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very nice. They have welcome drink and snack at the entrance gate. The bathroom has separate zone. Amenities has earplugs that I can't find in other place, so I'm surprised. A lot of parking. There is near 86 ramen that is very delicious.

AAnonymous UserWe had a twin room for short one night stay to explore Chiang Mai University and see the vibes of local uni students, location is great and have all necessities within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staffs, conversational English skills. Easy to call grab just from outside of the hotel, but try avoiding traffic rush hour when everyone is heading to university in the morning or coming down to and from night market at the late evenings. Also suitable for families to stay here as well, they have plenty of children play stuffs at the lobby.
KKasidechThe room is spacious, clean, good, cool air, strong water, takes a little to warm, there are 4 bottles of water and candy desserts, if there is a car with you, there is a parking space for 3 cars, the alley is a bit narrow.

GGuest User[De Chai gives you free drinks if you leave them a kind review during your stay so please be mindful of the reviews you see here :) ]
I found the two bathrooms very appealing along with the price per night so I decided to stay here during my trip with my parents, but there are a lot of room for improvement.
Location: 11-15 minutes away from Chiang Mai Airport so you can hear airplanes flying by in the hotel room. If youāre a light sleeper you might find discomfort staying here. There are definitely better hotels near here, personally I donāt recommend staying here. There are yummy food places near by that made up my experience here! I liked how I could walk to One Nimman & Maya to beat the heat.
Amenities: gym is pretty small, and the pool is tiny too. The pool was so warm as the water isnāt being circulated, which personally discouraged me opt out of swimming here. There were dead bugs floating around too. The pool closes from 6:30pm as thereās a small roof top bar. The gym operates from 7am to 7pm only.
Room: When I checked in, there was hair & dust on the floor. I later addressed this to the front desk the next day (we checked in the evening) & they cleaned it thankfully. The bigger issue here is a structural issue with the restroom floor. While showering, I realized that my feet were submerged in water and I was showering in a shower booth, not bath. The drainages are not working well so I had to be careful while showering because of this issue. Itās also because the water doesnāt flow to the drain fast enough and the water is just going to be all over the bathroom floor. I communicated this with the hotel staff but they just told me to shower with the drain top off but that didnāt fix the issue as I had to stop from the water overflowing by making circles on top of the drain to help the water drain out + using towels to soak the spilled out water. However, this might be a problem with just my room though. I stayed in room 502, so I hope this helps.
Service: Most staff donāt speak english fluently so it was quite difficult to communicate with them especially with my drainage problem. Theyāre not really welcoming but I think they are just shy because when I asked them something they looked startled and they didnāt know what to say.

SSijieVery affordable price, the surrounding looks very tranquil and pretty. Swimming pool is big enough. Walking distance to Chiang Mai university and the night market behind the university.
But unfortunately so far these are all advantages.
The cleanliness of the room was really below the standard, we found plenty of cocoons on the wall and some dead bugs? ( very unpleasant). There was only one trash can for the whole room, so we need to go all the way to the toilet to throw away the trash.
Reception staff looks like they donāt want to be at work at all.
