The room size is good, double room is slightly small for 2 mid size persons. Decent breakfast and location is convenient for taking the Alishan bus from train station. Do try the Chaiyi turkey rice @ Xie, it is delicious and value for money

The hotel was about 800 meters from the train station. It was close to the night market. Hinoki Village was a little longer walk but still close to the hotel. Since the train / bus station was close, it was easy to get transportation to Alishan National Forest. The rooms were large. The bath had an enclosed shower stall. Sink was in the bedroom area. A kettle, refrigerator and hair dryer are in the room. Liquid hand soap at the sink (which you do not see often in Taiwan). That was much appreciated! Free hot/cold/warm water dispenser in the lobby. The front desk is very helpful. They have a large capacity washer and dryer on the 5th floor (50 TWD per washer load). Floors are secured by elevator room card keys.

Theocratic is very convenient. Bothe service staff and housekeeping were incredibly polite The Wnhua night market is near the hotel. Many eateries nearby. Hotel is also walking distance from the railway station.

Good service and very recommended location, hotel cleanness

There is a washing machine dryer available in the hotel. TWD50 for each usuage. Great for light travellers. The gym provides some workout for regular gym person.

The best hotel i booked in my whole Taiwan trip, 15 min walking distance to Chiayi Train Station(the beginning point of 台灣好行 shuttle bus to Alishan), huge bed and huge room even with sofa, luggage rack, nearby 711 only 3 min walking time.

The hotel staff was nice to give us free upgrade for the room. However, it’s a bit rigid as they only allow 3pm check in despite us reaching at 245pm. The location is about 13 mins walk to chiayi train station, but near to Hinoki village and night market (within 10 mins walk).

We stayed 2 nights at Chiayi Hotel. The receptionist was helpful when we arrived at night. The parking space for cars is two blocks away and we had to walk for a while but that’s wasn’t a big deal. The hotel is about 800m to the train station or 15 mins by walking. The breakfast was okay. We opted for vegetarian meals. All in all, we would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Chiayi

Good location located in the downtown and near Chiayi station. Walkable to the night market. The room is very wide and clean. wifi is fast. Staffs aren't very friendly but acceptable. Many visitors are family or with friends. So sometimes there is noise in the night. There were a lot of fruit flies in the room. Overall, value for money.

Good location. Clean rooms. The washing machine in the hotel laundry left black marks all over my clothes. You have to wait quite a long time for the hot water to come in the shower.

The room is clean and spacious. We need to notify the hotel staff of the breakfast time preferred. The night market is quite a distance from the hotel. There is a massage shop and many eateries nearby. Vegetarian foods can be found inside the night market.

Stayed here for a few times when we’re in Chia yo cheap and nice

Excellent hotel, large rooms above expectations, the room was clean and well-equipped, underwent basic cleaning, received water and clean towels every day. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful in everything (including ordering food and recommendations for attractions). Located a few minutes walk from the Main Street. There is a washing machine in 2 floor.

Conveniently located within 15 mins stroll of wenhua road night market.
