"This trip was a bit of an accident. I had seen the famous hot springs in Chichibu, and since I like private baths (kirikiri-furo) and ancient Japanese architecture, I chose this hotel to stay. However, I later discovered that there are indeed private baths (renti-kiri-furo) and Japanese ancient buildings, but the hot springs can only be found at Chichibu Onsen next to Seibu Chichibu Station. When I went there, many of them were closed on weekdays, and there were only 10 hotels. Sauna and hot bath, it's a pity that I didn't get to soak in the hot springs. However, the hotel service is very good. They provide maps and passports for visiting Chichibu, and also provide a very comfortable private sauna service. The bathing pottery in the room is very beautiful and interesting. The room has a building within a building, and there are many ancient wooden pieces. The small coffee table on the tatami on the first floor is very interesting. There is also free sake and beer. The service is very good. Breakfast rice balls It's also delicious"

GGuest UserIt should have been full during consecutive holidays, but it was very quiet and comfortable. I am very grateful for your perfect response to your request. The food was very delicious and I was impressed by the ingredients and cooking methods I had never eaten. It's very strange that you get very well when you enter this hot spring, and you will repeat it. I am also surprised at the deliciousness of the water you drink after getting out of the thick hot spring. The staff 々 is very nice and a great hospitality inn.

SSUNG SING CHI KEVINIt is not easy to walk from Yi Fu Station. You have to walk across the railway and a very busy road, which takes about fifteen minutes.
The room is new and spacious enough.
The bathhouse provided is very good and large, with indoor and outdoor areas, as well as a sauna room. It is highly recommended.

We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces.
Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste.
One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time!
Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

In a quiet atmosphere surrounded by wood 々, the charcoal-grilled dishes are really delicious and you can spend a luxurious time. The cottage is warm and comfortable at night. I think it is a facility that can be used with peace of mind even for people who are new to camping.

GGuest UserI stayed here for two nights during my solo trip through rural Japan. The location is great — right near the center of Chichibu and within walking distance from local attractions and the train station.
The check-in process was a bit tricky since there’s no front desk or English signage, but luckily the owner happened to walk by and helped me check in. Otherwise, it might have been hard to figure out.
The room was clean and functional, with shared facilities that were well-maintained. The hostel itself was very quiet — I barely saw any other guests during my stay. I shared a room with one other traveler who mostly kept to himself.
One big plus: there’s a gym right next door, and the hostel gives you two free entries. That was a really nice bonus.
Overall, it’s a simple and peaceful place to stay if you’re looking for something low-key and local in Chichibu. Just be aware that English is not widely spoken, so having Google Translate helps!
