St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort

Went as a surprise holiday for husbands 60th birthday for august. Arrived late around 11pm and was met with a glass of fizz. Checked in and got help with suitcases as I was using a stick. Was friendly and chatty on the way to our room. We were assigned room 1218 in A block. So walked across level to lift and then down to -1 for our room. Another bit of a walk to get to the room. When we went back for the Boulevard for a sandwich and drink I asked at reception if there was a room near. Unfortunately we were unable to move but I think it worked out well as only had to go to -3 for lower level for swimming pool and sunbed. Sunbed allocation was fantastic but unfortunately we did not get moved to the poolside. But again we were under tree cover Cirricio the entertainment was friendly and helpful. Got us table and chairs when we had been out for a seafood meal. Hotel is really large after having new extension and tiki bar created which had a several live singers on nights. Good atmosphere in there. Had meals in the Asian and route 66 Al a carte restaurants. Couldnt get into the greek or Italian ones. The buffet there was plenty of choice in both restaurants drops restaurant was used for lunch time. There are snacks down by the beach with the ince cream as well where the Greek and Italian restaurants are at night Bar staff st pool bar knew our drinks which we got at the beginning of the day and when restocking our Thermal cups. Really hot weather so had siesta in the afternoons. Much needed before a shower. Plenty of toiletries left per day. Hotel is in a dip and all trips were at the fat fig restaurant up the hill. So it took alot out of me had to keep stopping for a rest. Entertainment was different. Elvis was there twice in our 11 nights was good. Dancers were okay Room was clean but the walk way was a bit musty so we opened windows by lift area to let in fresh air. It got better as days went Really had a lovely time. Staff work hard and definitely go back again.

1st visit at St.George and it didnt dissappoint! We were upgraded to a deluxe room when we got there and im so glad we had as a friend of ours was on the other side overlooking the pool/sea but in my opinion this room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. All the staff make this place so great and a special shout out to Andreas in the restaurant, Micheleas at the Italian & Greek, Maria at the pool bar , Chicco entertainment and all the staff at the cocktail bar and the Reception desk. The sunbed allocation is what makes this hotel stand out and every hotel should take note. We were given beds on the grass and the next day was offered a chance to move to the pool but we chose to stay where we were as it was a lot quieter and a nice breeze from the sea. My only two issues I had were 1) the toilets at the snack bar were awful and got so wet with people using from the pool that they became a health & safety issue . I think someone needs to be cleaning it every half an hour. 2) the staff at the cafe-patisserie were very grumpy and hardly cracked a smile unlike the rest of the staff at the hotel. The Asian a la carte was my favourite, the salmon was a m a z i n g ! We have booked to return next year and cannot wait. Well done St.George Beach Hotel , see you next year. Sue & Andrea

My partner and I have just returned from a ten day holiday, from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you are treated like a part of their extended family. From Christina and Arif in the pool bar to Likhon in the cocktail bar to Ange, Olga, Natalia, Dementia, Valerie and Kalina in the Spa and the entertainment from Chicco is something special and even Tassoula who was our maid was amazing - everyone is so friendly and will do anything and everything for you. If I can make a special mention to Andreas He was out of this world. The food is excellent, the Asian restaurant was our favourite but all excellent choices within. The sun lounger allocation is the best idea any hotel can have - well done guys. The rooms are spacious, the balcony we had - you could have played five a side on it lol. The bed is huge, even if you sleep with a starfish - you will still have plenty of room lol. We have already booked up for August 2026 and we can't wait to see our extended family again.

I stayed here in July with my husband and some friends. What a hotel! Everything from the restaurants to the various bars was exceptional. The a la cartes were so easy to book and all the staff so friendly. Only downside was the beach which could be a little tricky to get into but certainly not hotels fault! Im not one for returning to hotels but this was so good I've booked a week next May with the girls :-)

This has been the most relaxing and re-energising holiday I’ve had. The only real issue was with TUI, and it’s put us off travelling with them again. Our transfer involved nine stops/drop-offs on a coach with no air-conditioning, which wasn’t a great start. At one point, the driver even called at the wrong hotel (announcing it as St George when it wasn’t) and we all got off before being told to get back on. A TUI rep on board would have avoided this, especially as the driver spoke no English. Please feel free to raise this with them. Once we finally arrived at the real St George, everything changed. The hotel staff were outstanding from start to finish. Please pass on our thanks, they genuinely made the holiday amazing. From reception, to our room maid, to the wine bar, cocktail bar, sunset bar, and every restaurant, the service was warm, professional, and consistently excellent. The lounger service was a great touch, and the choice and quality of food across the restaurants was brilliant. Despite the resort’s size, it never felt crowded, so many spaces to relax and unwind. Lastly, the biggest and comfiest bed I've ever had in a hotel. Special mentions are well deserved: Likhon, George, and all the cocktail bar team, for going out of their way to perfect every drink (especially the mai tais). Panagiotis, who came to our rescue when our room lock failed at 11pm; his patience and effort went above and beyond, getting us into the room. Zebani and Roshan at the beach bar, absolute stars of the last two weeks, and we hope they are recognised by management. Maria and Mr Michaelis in the Greek / Italian. Just amazing and always looking to make dinner a great experience. A couple of points for improvement: why does the minibar not include even soft drinks? This is the first premium resort I’ve stayed in where the in-room minibar wasn’t stocked, and for a hotel of this level it’s something I would expect. Also, I understand guests mention Aperol, but the hotel’s wine list is the best I’ve seen anywhere, so I can’t complain! Overall, thanks to the outstanding staff, we will definitely be back.

I was in a group of 4 couples who stayed at this hotel for 4 nights after a Marella cruise…… from start to finish, the hotel, food, pools, facilities were absolutely amazing! The sunbed allocation was fab. My soon was spotless with a huge balcony overlooking one of the pools as well as the sea- I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Special shout out to Margarita Hadjichristofi who went above and beyond in sending some lost property back to me- that’s what I call amazing customer service! Looking forward to a return visit in the very near future
