St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort

This hotel is beautiful. All inclusive means exactly that. No hidden costs for towels or safe. The rooms are spotless and have a huuuge TV. Unfortunately the signal wasn't very good. The sunbed allocation is genius and should be adopted by all hotels. You are given a sunbed on your first day which is yours all holiday. If you don't like where it is you go on a reserve list and can change. Takes the stress out of finding one that hasn't been reserved by those who put their towels down then clear off all day.The food here is the best we've ever had in an all inclusive. There's one restaurant for breakfast and dinner another for lunch a snack bar and pattiserie. The Semeli wine bar is excellent where you can enjoy a lovely wine whilst enjoying the sunset. There is a dine around option to four other restaurants which were all excellent. There is also a sundowner bar open all day and two pool bars. Also a cocktail lounge. All included. Think that covers them all. The pools were too warm so not refreshing. The spa is absolutely beautiful. The entertainment is a bit hit and miss. Sadly,not the hotels fault, but the beach is really not good at all. It is extremely rocky and slippery, and beach shoes are needed. The best route into the sea was taken up by the water sports that were available. My sister and I held on to each other to get in and felt we were taking our lives into our own hands when we tried to get in. If you really enjoy the sea or have mobility issues then the beach is not for you.

it is a hotel that includes luxury as well as relaxation. its a place where even theost demanding customer will be pleased with the services, staff, food and all the facilities that includes.... unforgettable experience!!!

Just had a brilliant 10 days at this 4star hotel from staff/down to food excellent/cleaning staff rooms cleaned everyday the hotel was spotless would defi stay again in future x👍

We have just returned home from a lovely two weeks at this hotel. St George exceeded all our expectations,this is indeed a very special hotel. We had a lovely room on the 4th floor 4704,it overlooked the pool and the med sea.Our cleaner was Sophie,what a lovely lady. We loved the sun bed allocation,no rushing to find a bed each day. Can’t speak highly enough about the food we enjoyed every meal we had. Everywhere is spotlessly clean,a very high standard iskept in all areas of the hotel. If I had to make a small suggestion it would be for no smoking or vaping while sitting at the pool bar,maybe have a dedicated smoking and vaping area,also maybe think about offering another beer on the all inclusive. All the staff were very helpful,special mention to the waiters in the cocktail bar always smiling and willing to help. And of course special mention to Chico entertainment he works very hard to involve everyone. We will be returning next year. Thank you St George for our lovely holiday. See you next year

Stayed here recently with my partner & another couple. We booked separately but were very much on holiday together, before arriving we did have concerns about getting sunbeds together with them being allocated. This was not an issue. On the first morning we went down to the “sunbed hut” to get our towels and shown to our beds, we asked for 4 together and they happily accommodated this. They asked us where we would like to be, pool, beach, grassy area etc. we asked to be close to the pool. Initially this wasn’t possible and we were about a 30 second walk away from the pool area, but on day 2 they came and found us to say as of day 3 they can move us to be pool side with people going home so that was perfect. The 4 A la carte restaurants can be booked on an interactive screen in the hotel, again we could book for our 2 rooms on a joint booking so we were sat together. Each restaurant had different availability for the next day but we had 7 evenings and managed to go to each one once. On the other evenings the buffet was there which you did not have to book. Photos attached - Pizza from the Italian, BBQ ribs from the American diner. Lamb curry from the Asian. The all inclusive drinks were probably the best part. Bar opened at 10am closed at midnight. 2 choices of draught beer, Keo & Kappa. Bottles of beers you’d get in the UK were available too. A wide range of cocktails & mocktails. Soft drinks & milkshakes as well. Breakfast was pretty standard, continental & some English. Bacon, sausage, hash browns etc. plenty of fruit & pancakes. Lunch you could go to the buffet or down to the snack bar which had pizza, burger, chips, hot dogs, wraps and more. There was also an ice cream hut & a small patisserie with donuts and other bits. Rooms all had a sea view, our air conditioning didn’t seem to work very well but our friends room was fine so not sure if we were just unlucky. The majority of the staff were very polite and couldn’t do enough to help. There was one member of staff ‘Atanas’ who was quite rude and seemed like serving you was a problem for him. But overall a really great hotel and would certainly recommend. This is an adults only hotel so is quite chilled out but plenty mix of younger couples & older. Its location isn’t great, there isn’t much nearby probably a 15-20 minute taxi to the marina if you did want to venture out.

We stayed for 10 days here and we’re really happy with the whole experience. Location wise, it was c. 15-20 mins drive to the harbour, and 10-15 mins to Tombs of the Kings - would recommend going to both! We mostly used taxis to get around, stevie’s taxis offer return vouchers which are cheaper than jumping in another taxi at the end of the night. Return from hotel to harbour €34, return from hotel to Tombs of the Kings c.€26 There is a bus line close if you wanted to use that too, but I think you need to use buses two get to the harbour. The staff were very pleasant, particularly down at the sunset bar where we spent a lot of our evenings before food. The cleaners were superb, always very polite and kept the room very clean. They do sometimes call a little early, definitely remember to put your do not disturb sign if you want to sleep in past 9am. Room was good, had everything we needed and the A/C was excellent, really nice to come back to a nice cool room after a day sunbathing. The allocated sun loungers were excellent and allowed us to be more relaxed rather than rushing down early to save good seats. We had loungers on the grass for the first few days, then by the beach for the remaining. If you can handle the sand the beach loungers get a lovely breeze off the sea to keep you cooler! Food was a lot better than we were expecting from an all inclusive, the snack bar was the highlight as we didn’t always fancy the buffet, so a slice of pizza and some chips hit the spot. The cocktails were really good and a great range included. We only went in the pool with the swim up bar, but we were really pleased. Access to the sea was also ideal as was a lot cooler than the pool during daytime. Entertainment was hot and cold, we enjoyed the quizzes and bingo, and the dancers were excellent. Both good and bad made for great memories! To summarise: get beach sun beds for nice breeze sunbathing, snack bar is awesome and the cocktails are great. Room A/C is a saviour. Overall 9/10, we would definitely come back. - only drawback was our side ocean view room really was a SIDE view. But we didn’t spend that much time in the room anyway!
